I had been using the powder that came with my Lomi, but later learned that it wasn't the right product for this type of composting. I decided to try this Bokashi bran, and I'm very happy with the results. It has a pleasant smell, and the finished material looks like it will turn into rich, healthy soil. I enjoy using it every day and will definitely continue purchasing it.

I have had my bokashi compost bins for 3 months and I love it. Bran is the key ingredient. And, this bran looks fresh and the size is perfect. Easy to use... just sprinkle it on.

Fantastic product. Keeps my countertop compost stink-free and keeps the fruits flies away as well. Love this product. Just sprinkle a bit every time youput something new in the compst bin and voila! your're already breaking down the materials before you add it to your main compost bin.

I purchased this product to better manage my Reencle composter. Reencle doesn’t offer a “booster” microbe product and after 2 yeats the soil in the Reencle needed the following: * Jumpstart bacterial activity * Expand microbial diversity * Handle protein/fat inputs more reliably * Reduce/eliminate occasional odor (key signal of anaerobic imbalance) After some product research, I decided on the following products to address these goals: As the Primary Booster, I chose Roebic Bacterial Compost Accelerator (model CA-2.5-12). For Secondary Stabilizers, I chose: * Bokashi bran (1–2 tablespoons occasionally) to handle meat scraps. * worm castings (a small handful periodically) as a “reset tool” when odors occur. One Insight Most People Miss (Important): Compost boosters aren’t just about “adding bacteria,” they also: * Supply enzymes + nutrients that help bacteria multiply * Help restore the carbon:nitrogen balance indirectly Even if I’m consistent about these products, the microbial ecosystem can still drift over time—especially in a closed appliance. RESULTS: So far, this plan has been working perfectly! No issues at all. Reencle’s compost starter product is $65. This is the product used to get a new Reencle started. Their one bag does it all, but it’s a one-time, one use product. I suppose I could occasionally just spoon some in as a booster, but I wanted a solution that would boost a composter that has already been running pretty well for 2 years and give me the tools to fix problems commonly associated with composting. The combined cost of the three products listed above was about $75, but for $75 the quantity of products I have is a lot more than just one little Reencle bag. Not only is this approach more cost effective, I have separate products to address specific problems—basic boosting, handling of meat scraps, and odor control.

Not sure if this product is working yet but no smell and is easy enough to use. However only 3 stars because the first bag was ripped on the package and they actually wanted me to send it back which I did. Was poorly packaged and it was on every single thing inside the box. Second delivery was fine

The products arrives quickly and undamaged. No assembly needed easy to use. On Amazon I was able to get the best value for my money. I believe it’s the best quality for the size.
