Storage Cabinet
This is very lightweight and cheaply made—right down to the plastic used on the keypad. No expense was Not spared in the construction! However, for this price, I did not expect it to be well made. This will definitely not deter any criminals. It will deter casual theft or delay someone from getting into your personal paper. Essentially, this is a small, locking file cabinet. Virtually anyone could carry this away with relative ease—I doubt it weighs even 50 lbs. The walls are thin metal alloy—I doubt it’s steel, given how light this is, but I could certainly be mistaken.

Works okay - quality control issues
Shipping box looked okay, no major outside damage. Removed the safe and heard rattling noise inside. Both shelves had come off the rails during transportation. Cheap plastic front on the shelf was broken. Paint scraped off inside the door, not near the shelfs. Bottom of safe appears to have been scraped, but paint still intact. Instruction booklet gave the same instructions for setting entry code as setting fingerprint. Got both set and seem to be working. Keeping the keys nearby just in case. Turning the knob to open there is a fairly loud scraping noise. Haven't tested the alarm yet. Lighter than I expected but it will work for what I need. Not trusting it for fire or water, using pouches for critical documents.

Cheap toy
Purchased this because of the high reviews it received. Upon arrival, I was extremely unimpressed of the low quality and cheap construction. I wouldn’t trust the safe to guard a glass of water. This is a teenage toy at best

Garbage
My mothers tupperware is a better safe than this tin can piece of crap. Don't buy this tuna can it's definitely not fire proof. I'm returning it for sure.

Decent but not foolproof
This has the potential to be a really good safe, but falls short in a couple areas.First- The door is not as thick as shown in the pictures, it's half that at most. The sides are just as equally thin and could probably be punctured with a screwdriver and hammer, or even just a claw hammer. It does have great bolts for holding it shut, but still need to be a bit longer in the area that goes inside the door itself, as they are pretty short and I'm not sure the actual security they provide.Second- The fingerprint and code entry area are very cheap plastic, and can easily be broken. This provides a way into the door mechanism, and a way to defeat the safe itself. Needs to be a little more robust.Third- It's very light. This makes bolting it down a must for security, otherwise someone can just pick it up and walk away.Other than that, it's a decent safe for protecting minor valuables or documents. The firesafe pouch is a nice addition, and will be used to keep the really important things like SS cards, Birth Certificates, marriage papers inside. The padded shelves give additional protection against things getting scratched inside the safe, which is a nice touch.
