Best clam chowder We have ever tasted
Actually had our first taste of Tony's clam chowder at his retaurant on Cedar Key here in Florida. All the food was excellant but the clam chowder was over the top. We try clam chowder at every sea food establishment we visit and NONE have been as good as Tony's. Just the right amount of a little heat, plenty of clams, smooth and creamy. We have tried New England, Manhattan and even Down East style chowder and this was a pleasant surprise. Try it and you will be glad you did.

Lives Up to Its Great Reviews!
This soup truly is great! It IS rather pricey--but aren't you worth it? Excellent flavor and texture, good amount of clams. You could add more (rinsed) clams to it if you like a lot of them, but everyone at our crab feed thought it was delicious "as is." It will thicken as it stands or if left on low, so if you like it thicker, give it a bit more time. BTW, the label clearly states not to boil it. My friend's cooktop was an overachiever and even though it was on the lowest setting, still caused it to boil. While I don't encourage you to boil it, if it does happen all is not lost--it just got thicker. Still tasted great! You will be proud to serve it. Have already purchased another batch for next year's crab feed just to make sure we can get it!

World class
If you make this as per the recipe on the can and use heavy cream and half and half, it's world class and New England clam chowder doesn't get better. If they charged $20 a cup for this at some high end NYC restaurant, you know one of those ones with a short name and high prices like "Bofo", no one would complain. It was surprisingly a tad spicy. Fine by me. I will order this again. The can fed 8 people multiple portions.

The BEST OF THE BEST CLAM CHOWDAH!
My brother and his family live in Florida and sent this to us for Christmas a couple years ago! We travel quite often to Maine and THOUGHT we’d had the best Chowdah ever! This proved us wrong! Get the larger cans and add Half and Half and Whipping Cream and a bit of BUTTER! Heat and serve with Oyster Crackers, of course! 😉

Delicious clam chowder, perhaps a bit spicier than some would expect from NE style!
We loved this chowder! It's a little on the expensive side, sure, but for an occasional treat when you don't have the time to make some chowder from scratch this stuff beats any canned or packaged alternative that I've tried so far without a doubt! As I noted in the title though, it does have a little more of a kick than other chowders I've tried. I haven't had an opportunity to try any up in the Northeast yet, so it may be right in line with the real thing, but take it as food for thought!

World Class Taste in a Can!
This is the best clam chowder I have ever tasted. My 3 year old daughter even loved it. It's expensive but well worth the treat! Highly recommend.

Best Canned Clam Chowder
This clam chowder is absolutely delicious! It’s a huge can of condensed soup, that becomes perfectly creamy when mixed per the instructions with cream and half & half. It’s very well seasoned with a peppery kick (but as a warning, it’s right at the edge of the salt boundary). That said, it’s the best canned clam chowder I have ever tasted (and being in the landlocked Midwest, I’m ALWAYS on the hunt for good chowder). I will never be without this in my panty.

Too spicy
The chowder had good flavor but it was spicy and peppery. That ruined it for me.
