I had tried standard plaster knives but they left ridges over area I needed to get a smooth finish on. This wider knife was perfect and gave me a quick smooth finish with no fuss

Great taper knife I've had a few now I use for multiple things ie trimming, even scraping hard wearing but very sharp corners

Well worth adding to your tool box. After years of using small paint and paper scrapers, this has transformed my plastering.

Bought 2 of these as they are ideal for squaring up cakes on boards before applying buttercream or ganache to get an even coating all round. Stainless Steel so they are food safe. Just need a good wash and sticky labels removing before use and they are good to go. Won't be using them for anything else obviously!! but much cheaper than the ones made especially for home bakers and very sturdy and a good 8" lenth. Would recommend

Bought this for icing my cakes( saw someone using it on u tube) the size allows even strokes and gets the sides and top of my cakes iced to a really smooth finish. Solo much cheaper than an icing utensil and wider than any icing utensil I've ever seen. A definite must for cake decorating . Don't let anyone get hold of it to scrap the wallpaper off though, you'll loose the sharpness and u need to keep it for cake purposes only- hygiene!
