Great scent, wonderful feel and super moisturizing.

I recently received this "ZealSea Superfood Antioxidant Face Oil: Facial Oil with Vitamin E Squalane Oil Grapeseed Oil for Face Hydrating Moisturizing Dry Skin Therapy Oil Care Gua Sha Massage for Women Men, 0.9 Fl Oz" and am mostly happy with it as a moisturizer. There's only one real negative as far as I'm concerned, and for many it would be a positive, so that'll have to be up to you to decide.So when I receive a new "beauty product" of some kind, I usually ask a few questions as I first try it out.Is this product moisturizing?Yes, it makes my face feel VERY hydrated after use, and the moisture seems to last all day long.Does it absorb quickly?Eh, it doesn't absorb as quickly as some other serums or moisturizing oils I've tried in the past, but it's not awful. The directions say to apply this oil to a clean face before applying your normal moisturizer. I did that the first time and in the end I must have used too much and I never even got to the "normal moisturizer" step because my face was too... moist! I now use only 3 drops per application - one drop on each side of my face (to focus on laugh lines) and one drop along my forehead (for creases). Between those 3 drops of oil, my whole face feels supple for the entire day.Does it make skin look healthy?So far, yes. It really does feel like this face oil "plumps up" my facial skin. It definitely reduces the appearance of wrinkles for me.What don't I like?The only negative comment I have about this oil is the scent. I am a very sparing user of colognes or perfumes and I use a lot of essential oils, so plenty of fragrance comes from those without me needing to add in something specifically for the smell. This oil smells of flowers - roses. I don't DISLIKE the smell, but I don't really want it ON me. I especially don't want it on me so close to my nose. It's a drawback, but is the only real negative in my opinion.This moisturizing oil is currently listed for $24.99 as I type this review, and I personally think the asking price is reasonably well aligned with similar products so I do not have any issue recommending it - just be aware it smells of roses.

This is a fragrance-free oil, but the scent from the botanical oils and extracts is absolutely fantastic and I am in love with it. Perhaps it is the peony extract? Seriously I would buy this for the scent alone. But enough on the smell, because this facial oil has really fantastic ingredients and makes my skin feel amazing without looking or feeling oily. I have used facial oils for a couple of years with great results. I have researched many oils on PubMed and have purchased many individual types to make my own custom blend which does wonders for my skin. That being said, so far I am head over heels in love with this oil. The first ingredient is sunflower seed oil, which may sound rather pedestrian but it is an amazing oil to repair and strengthen the skin barrier. It is also the first ingredient in Augustine’s Bader’s The Rich Cream, which does wonders for my skin but is too expensive for me to use as much as I would like. The second ingredient is Macadamia seed oil, which I have not purchased individually but looked up and is excellent for skin. I was concerned that being such a rich nut it might clog pores, but it is actually low on the comedogenic scale, at a 2-3, and should be no problem for most skin especially as second ingredient. The third ingredient is Squalane, another amazing skin care oil I purchase individually, and the second oil ingredient in the aformentioned AB Rich Cream. This oil also contains many other highly beneficial oils and ingredients, including vitamin E, jojoba oil, grapeseed oil, meadow foam seed oil, argan oil and many more. The front label advertises that this contains sea buckthorn oil, which it does but is quite far down on the ingredient list. Having used pure Sea Buckthorn Oil in my face oil blends and as a supplement, I can tell you the percentage in this oil is very small because of the light golden yellow color of this face oil. Pure Sea Buckthorn is an incredible potent orange color that can stain and which adds a lot of color even in small percentages, so I would estimate this contains less than 1% of that oil. This face oil also contains extracts of pomegranate flower, peony, and rose, I assume that these contribute to the amazing scent of this oil. In addition to my face, I have been applying this to my forearms and back of hands just so I can smell it, it smells relaxing and fresh and floral all at the same time. The bottle is glass and gorgeous. There are 4 negative things I have to say about this product, but they are not important enough to detract from my star rating. 1. Itis made in China. I tend to avoid many skin care products made in China as some products from there are not good/bad counterfeit copies of name brands and I have trust issues with contents, but I am making an exception for this face oil because I have tried it and find I absolutely love it. 2. The writing on the front of bottle “Give back your delicate skin” is not grammatical English and clearly a bad translation. 3) The front of bottle calls out that this contains grape seed oil and sea buckthorn oil, but these are actually the 8th and 19th ingredients respectively. This last is more hilarious than anything else. This oil contains Baobab seed oil which is great oil for skin. The scientific name included is Adansonia Digitata. I had to look it up, and saw it was Baobab. Unfortunately instead of saying Baobab seed oil they say it is “Dead Rat Tree Seed Oil”, which sounded disgusting. Perhaps that is the colloquial name for that tree in China? Anyway, it is nothing to be alarmed about, it is Baobab seed oil which is great for skin, no dead rats in this product. I would suggest the manufacturer change that to the more recognizable Baobab seed oil, and get rid of the dumb words in script on front of bottle. I will update this review if I have more to share, but so far I am extremely pleased with the ingredients, smell, and performance of this oil. It leaves my skin with a fabulous soft, smooth texture than somehow does not feel at all oily.

As a Gen X or who has always tried to be conscientious about my skin care as I've gotten older oils have become a significant part of my daily routine. Some are for moisture some are for scent. This is all of the above. It smells great and natural and not overwhelming and it feels great. One or two drops is really all I need.** Hi a little about me and my reviews.I regularly review skin care products and have a base line for my reviewing process.Firstly I have very dry, sensitive and aging skin.I prefer oil based products, and I prefer something with a natural scent like lavender, rose, rosemary.I try to keep my reviews concise but I wanted to share my star ratings as I see them.5 Stars - Would use every day. This is some really good stuff for keeping your face hydrated and looking healthy. I can only go by my results and it's all good. I put about 3 drops on my face and rub it around and it keeps my face from drying out all day long.

This is a really great oil for oil treatments and in the Kbeauty skincare process this is a great oil step. I will say the scent is interesting and is sometimes too much for me to put on my face directly by my nose - it lingers longer than I would like - and it's worth noting this has a very high level of vitamin E (so check safety levels!) I would get this again but so far i use this only about once a week so this one bottle will last me a while.
