This is a great tire plug kit to have. Comes with everything pictured and will really come in handy should I ever get a flat tire. You can never be too prepared for uncertain events. It's a decent size kit that comes in a zipper bag and I highly recommend getting one for those just incase emergencies.

If you are capable of repairing tires yourself (which is not that hard), I would recommend getting a kit for each vehicle you own. The reamer tool is probably the best I've seen in a kit. What I would add to the kit is a tube of rubber glue. I've also seen a lot of failed jack attempts on the roadside repair and they seem to come from the car rolling off the jacks. For this reason, if you are going to attempt repairs at all, you might want to carry good chocks with you, and try to park on level ground. If you can fix the flat without having to lift the car, even better. Also a portable inflator that is fully charged. No sense fixing a tire that's still flat because there's no air. For a $10 kit, these tools are really nice and just having the case to organize everything is also very important.

I have mixed feelings about this tire kit. It's too large for what you get. If you are on a motorcycle or ATV you don't have that much space. This kit has some odd choices too. I've been repairing tires with plugs for years. I have never ever worn out the insertion tool or the hole cleaner saw part. There are spares in this kit but I doubt anyone will ever need them. That part being replaceable is a negative. It makes the handle connection a failure point. It will never be as strong as a solid handle on the insertion tool.That they include lubricant is a plus but it's not really the proper thing for fixing tire leaks. Instead, this needs to be tire glue. The tire glue acts as lubricant for the tools and provides a seal. The lubricant will never seal and weakens the plug by making it easier for it to slip out.What is missing from this kit is pliers. When there's a nail or screw in your tire you need to remove it before you can plug anything. That's missing here so this kit is not complete.The hollow handles lend themselves to act as storage for the strands and valve stuff. Since the insertion part is removable the whole thing could be made much smaller which would then be more portable for bikes, ATVs, tractors and of course cars.There's nothing innovative or thoughtful about this kit. Look elsewhere.

Getting a flat is no fun. Having this kit, as well as a portable air compressor, can save you time and aggravation on the side of the road. If you have a nail, screw, or that type of puncture in your tread on your tire, this kit will work great for you (don't ever try to plug a sidewall puncture.) One thing I do, after inserting the plug, is set it on fire to burn down to the tire. The rubber cement is usually quite flammable, so be advised, but when it melts down to the level of tread, blow the fire out. The melting helps seal the plug, as well as you won't hear the plug hit pavement with each tire rotation until it wears down.

I've done some off-roading, and everyone in the club carries some tire patch kit. When you're away from paved roads and cities, it's hard and expensive to get repair services to come to you! You have to be ready to help yourself, at a minimum to get back to where help can reach you. This kit includes everything you need to fix a few holes, and is more than the bare minimum that I've had before. Spare tools and plenty of patch cords, as well as valve repair tools all in a convenient case!

Seriously...the name of this kit is dumb...but all the tools to repair a tire are there. Small package and enough plugs to repair quite a few tires. The only thing you need to add is a portable air pump. This will be going into our vehicles, especially during road trips and extended commutes. Good set at a good price.
