Replacement Thermistor Kit for Waeco CFX DZ Series - Long Thermistor - All CFX-DZ

First of all I want to thank wonderful people of YouTube that guided me to get this thermistor. I have an igloo 80DZ dual zone fridge identical to the Dometic CFX 75DZW. I found zero information on the igloo on YouTube and online I was getting an error 2 on one of the displays and the videos explained that the thermistor tends to go out on the dometics cause them to be unable to regulate the temperature and possibly throwing a code, so I decided to open up my fridge because I was having issues and saw that the thermistor in my igloo fridge was similar to the dometic one I saw in the YouTube videos so I decided to purchase it and it worked like a charm. I got my igloo fridge for 50 bucks but new they cost $800 plus so I took the risk and it was a plug and play if you're a handy with screwdrivers. These dual zone fridges have two thermistors, a longer white plug and a shorter red plug which I think the seller sells as a pair. I only changed the longer white plug thermistor. I also made sure to buy thermal paste but instead of the white paste I ordered silver thermal paste that people use in CPU processors but I think any thermal paste will do. One thing to note . The plug does fit into the igloo refrigerator but it is not identical to the one I removed. You can see in the pictures The error I was getting and the difference in the plugs and how even though it's not identical it still fits. I hope this helps someone.

I gave it three stars because it works, but the temperature is not correct. I had problems with my CFX3 freezing and replaced the thermistor. The new one makes it hotter than the display, likely simply due to the thermistor providing incorrect signal. I checked with an IR thermometer and an RV refrigerator thermometer. Adjust your setting and know your temperature to use this replacement.
