EasyFilter 9000 Pond Filter and 6000 Pond Pump Set

Bought this pump to run my skimmer works great well chuffed

Great pump and filter great power but it is leaking from the joints

We ordered this and we’re a bit sceptical about it. But we are amazed! For the money it’s a great piece of kit and our pond is now crystal clear. Thinking of buying another just as a back up!

Initial problem with my order not arriving on time, but phoned PondXpert direct, who were very apologetic and received my order the following day. My order arrived extremely well packaged. Set up was easy but I had problems trying seal leaks on my hose to the cone-tail as my own hoses are heavy-duty and the jubilee clips supplied weren't strong enough to effectively make a seal, and the rubber seals on the cone-tail wouldn't seal either. I telephoned PondXpert direct and received replacement cone-tails and seals the following day. I still couldn't solve the leakage problems, so I went to a local 'pipes and fittings specialists' where I bought High Torque jubilee clips and more substantial rubber seals - problems solved!Apart from initial 'teething' problems, and spending £8.00 0n jubilee clips and seal, I'm very satisfied with my purchase, and I was in no great rush for pump and filtration on my new pond (other than getting ear-ache from 'she who must be obeyed'). My pond's clear and my waterfall looks fantastic.Telephone calls to PondXpert were dealt with in a courteous manner and I would have no hesitation in purchasing from PondXpert in the future.

Not the best product leaks no seals only 2 tails should be 3 not much room to secure tails on and uv bulb didn't work

Normally too lazy to review but.......I had a small problem with with the filter sent out (failing seal) and was expecting a bit of a battle to be honest. What actually happened was I sent an email and got a fast response which included a contact number if there were further issues. I spoke to a gentlemen that afternoon who asked a few questions and then didnt hesitate in informing me that a repalcement would be sent out tomorrow, it was. The product is well made (If you are new to filters dont be put off by the failing seal I experienced, it just happens sometimes) and feels robust and the filter sponges are not cheap rubbish, I will keep them in. The electric cables and connections where they enter the pump/filter are good quality. The filter is doing its job as the pond had been neglected and the water is getting clearer at a reasonable rate. At the moment I am having to clean the filter out weekly which is a very simple process. The pump is producing a good flow rate. All in all very happy with service and product.

I purchased these items to power a 1m high, 40cm wide waterfall, and to filter a 4500L pond. They were both reasonably priced, but considerably less than "branded" models for the same capacities. After reading several good reviews, I ordered and installed in my new pond.The pump appears well made and good quality, and is more than sufficient for my waterfall. The filter has 3 layers of sponge, with plenty of "spheres" for bacterial colonisation. It was all very easy to set up.As my pond is new, it was very silty and turned green within 2 days. The filter was able to convert it to completely clear within 6 days, which I was very impressed with.I would definitely recommend these products for use with a small to medium sized pond.

Skip forward to 24 hours after install and everything is wonderful. However be prepared for what seems like a leak from the bio filter when you first switch it on. I think this is because there's a bit of overpressure to start with then it settles down and within hors everything is fine. In fact it's like Niagara, really does cycle the water rapidly and efficiently as well as oxygenating it ferociously.Would buy again with no hesitation.
