Brought this for my first EV car and use with home charging point. Connection between charger are good and solid, locking works. Charging at good rate with home charger 6.4kw. Protective caps keep connections clean. Good value for money.

Just so you know, I review products for Amazon, so I did not pay for this item. Having received it, here's what I thought:I have a BMW I3, the car changes all the time on a 7.4kw charger. I tested this and it worked as expected.I did have a problem with a charge point out and about but that's not unusual.The finish is good, the bag is nice, and the cleaning cloth is a bonus, clean your screen while it charges at 7kw if you like, you'll be there a while.I'd prefer this to have a 22kw rating to make it future-proof, or even an 11kw rating to maximise the speed from a 3-phase DC. I have seen other cables around the same price which have these features.No problem recommending the cable to deliver what it's designed to do. It looks nice as cables go too.

I got this for charging while out and about as we have a tethered charger at home.Comes with a bag, rubber caps to protect the ends, velcro straps to keep the cable neat and a very nice purple and grey cloth to errrr.... clean it I guess before you put it away!It's not too long so sits nicely in the boot not taking up too much space.Have only used it once and it works as expected. Car registered the 7kw connection and charged as quickly as I would expect. 5M is perfect for public chargers where you park right next to the charging station.Highly recommended.
