I love the wave pattern this light generates! This a very small unit, about the size of a rubic’s cube, so it’s discreet visually. It’s easy to charge and holds up decently. Very calming. Zero noise. The media could not be loaded. This does show pretty lights and they do look like pretty colored water rippling but as a born and raised Alaskan I can definitely say these don't remind me of the northern lights at all, so that reference should be removed from the listing. This not the first "underwater light projector" I've tried and it's also not one of my favorites. The light isn't bright enough to cast very far from the base, it's USB only and doesn't work unless plugged in, but worst of all, the remote doesn't work 50% of the time, or more. I'm definitely not impressed with this product. I hope they will make some modifications to provide a better product in the future

my daughter tried this out in her bedroom. she liked it but it only has a limited cast view. she was hoping it would light up the whole room but it only seems to light up one wall and some of the ceiling. has a power cable directly attached to it, not the best design. requires a remote to change the colors. it's decent but there is room for improvement.

I acquired this as a gift for my daughter. Here's what she says about it:I really like the effect this makes on a corner of my room, but I wish it would cover more of the relatively small room in which I have it. The Northern Lights and ocean effects are really pretty, but they appear only in the corner of the room.This is a really clever idea, and it's extremely reasonably priced at about $10. I just think that things like this will get better and cover more of the room as time goes on.For now, this is a good, but not great ambiance changer for a get-together or as a night light for a youngster.Though, I can't give it five stars, I still recommend it.

This Ocean Wave Projector Light creates a calming atmosphere that almost feels like being underwater. It’s great for when the grandkids are visiting. They can sometimes get excited and have trouble sleeping, leaving them tired and cranky the next day. The blue mode is especially calming, but the kids like to play with the remote and the different colors.

The media could not be loaded. The starry projection light is awesome! It looks like you’re underwater!  One of the best I’ve seen! I like that you can change the colors with the remote.
