Worth the money
Installed in less than 5min, only tried sports mode at its lowest setting and it's pretty sensitive. So I normally use the normal or fuel efficiency mode. Seems to work quite well and really seems quite nice. Seems well built and worth the money

Good product for money
This work very well. Milage up so far by 2 miles per gallon. Easy install, simple programming. Put it up against a high end brand TRC. Using on a 2023 Ram Hemi Classic 4 w heel drive. Can't go wrong!!

Does not Work on a 2016 Q 50 Infiniti
I have used this nine drive throttle controller on a number of Toyotas and jeeps. And it has worked fine. In fact, it works great. However, on a 2016 Q 50 Infiniti it does not work. I installed it checked function, dead pedal and three different check engine lights. Uninstalled it cleared. The codes pedal was back to normal. Reinstalled, same three check engine, lights and dead pedal. Uninstalled cleared the codes went back to stock.

Cheaper version of the pedal commander type devices
What's more frustrating than a truck that is tough to get good mileage with? The truck feeling sluggish because the vehicle manufacturer decided to write code into the ECU to keep your gas pedal from going when you push it. Granted, the designers put much work into the torque management system to help keep the mpg's somewhat under control when you're making 400hp these days in half-ton trucks. So, driving my Ram under normal conditions, the mileage is halfway decent. I just hate the pedal lag. Most reports I've witnessed after people have used the "pedal commander" type of tuners are very happy results. I just couldn't commit to the cost. When I ran across the review of a 9-Drive device, I realized huge cost savings with it. I jumped on Amazon and ordered the 809, which works with Gen 5 Rams. When it arrived, I couldn't wait to install it. The device is small, making it easy to find a mounting point, but it's not too small to make quick changes. I installed the device in maybe 35 seconds. Full disclosure I looked at a video before starting. Basically, you unplug the connector that attaches to the gas pedal and install the provided pigtail in series. The button feedback is nice and easy to understand. You can operate normally without anything added from the unit, all the way up to several levels of race mode. Point of clarity, you won't make your truck more powerful, the device just adds voltage to the ECU depending on throttle position. With a throttle-by-wire system that most cars now have, the gas pedal position is determined by a sensor. The sensor relays that position for the ECU by verifying a voltage output. For instance, if the pedal is at idle, the sensor sends 0v to the ECU. At full throttle, it will send 5v to the ECU and varying voltages in between. The ECU will then open the throttle body based on the voltage determined by the ECU. The engineers take that voltage and filter it a bit, requiring more of a pedal "push" to increase the voltage, producing a lag feel at your foot. Older carbureted engines don't have that lag because the throttle is mechanically connected to the carburetor, so the carb opens at the same rate the gas pedal moves. Here's where "pedal commanders" work. They take the voltage reported by the gas pedal's position and add different voltage levels (depending on the device setting), and the ECU "thinks" the pedal is being pushed harder. The changes made on the 9-Drive take instantly and can be changed as you drive. I can't compare the 9-Drive to a competitor since I have used others. But for the price, it does exactly what I expected from a device of its kind. Word of caution, It's fun, very fun. And your gas mileage will not like it. I enjoyed the highest level of race mode, which feels like a well-tuned carburated hot rod. But after watching my average mileage drop a couple of points, I changed to a mid-range setting. To me, that's the sweet spot. It has made the truck much more responsive, but only lightly affected my average mpg's. Very happy customer.

Just buy it as it works like the expensive models.
I rarely write reviews but the deserved it.I have a 2006 BMW 530xi and it was annoying as the throttle lagged bad and was a pain in stop and go traffic. It took some work to access the necessary ports to plug it into but with some sweat i got it in. The difference is night and day, Im set at 3.3 on the 9-drive and it revs out so fast now i will need to readjust my driving style as i hit 80 mph when i wasn't even paying attention. So responsive everywhere. Ive owned one of the expensive commander in my last car and this works exactly ike the 9-drive but $200 cheaper. Best money ive spent in a long time seeing im driving a differantly acting car.

Re-train your foot…
So this was installed in a 2016 Toyota Tacoma. 3rd gens are notorious for poor throttle response. Many opt for the ECU tuners which from my understanding is a serious upgrade to the stock Toyota tune. Problem is they are very expensive and I don’t have a local “tuner” guy nearby. That being said let’s talk about this little gadget. Does it change pedal response? ABSOLUTELY. Set it to “sport” 2.8 and you feel the difference IMMEDIATELY. Just simple normal acceleration without lag. Punch it and it quickly shifts and goes. Didn’t mess with other settings as all I wanted out of this device was a more aggressive response. Quality? Well the control module is simply cheap material. Low grade case. Plastic screen is soft and simply gets micro scratches from wiping it with your finger. If there is a plastic shield on it it is not easy to detect to peel off. Not mentioned in directions. Install? Pretty straightforward. Unplug molex plug at peddle and install module. Will need dexterity to hang it out of the way. Cord to control module is long enough for most areas to place it. Cord uses a lightning connector which is why the description says it’s a phone connection. Wish the connection was on the left side of module to make a cleaner looking install. Hanging it upside down word annoy me. After connecting and starting it didn’t throw any error codes. The longest time of installation was placement of the control module. Buy again? After only 2 days, probably. Need to run it on the highway and climb some hills to be sure. Also would like to see if it affects gas mileage. Also concerned about reliability as some have mentioned theirs have failed after a few months. Recommend? Yes. Until you can save up for a ECU computer upgrade. Those run $450-500 for a tuner guy or $400-900 if you get a kit and do it yourself. For the single use to improve peddle performance, this works. If you want something more sophisticated, look into Pedal Commander and the like. There is another product called PedalMonster which is more scientific. If you look up the video from Banks Power that compares the two. Each has their own bias. But it seems that Banks is a little safer as explained in the video. However, tying up your ODBII port may not be preferred. They have increased their prices since the video as well. My use and application is not to tweak my throttle while driving or much after I find the setting I like so all the “extras” is wasted on me. ***UPDATE**** I decided to take a road trip of about 600 miles to get a better idea of how this device performs. This was a trip from western Washington to central Washington. Go through the pass and use cruise control and Toyota ECT. The real test was going to be climbing the 7 miles up Vantage hill. This was always a problem with the stock setup as the transmission “hunted” for gearing. Having this throttle control was impressive. It responded to the slightest push of the pedal which was great for climbing up the grade. Sure, it still hunted but not nearly as much as it usually did. This was with ECT engaged and no cruise control. As a matter of fact cruise control seemed enhanced by this device. As for MPG, there was a negligible improvement for highway driving. As opposed to a slight decrease with city driving. So, overall I would recommend this device. As previously stated I don’t change the settings. I think eco mode would be ridiculous as it introduces more lag than stock mode. Too save a few MPG isn’t worth it. Find a setting that you’re comfortable with and set it and forget it.

YIBEICO Throttle Response Controller, 9 Drive 9-Mode Smart Electronic Racing Pedal Acceler
This item works great improve my throttle response and have increase my gas mileage. The only thing is after 6 months of daily driving, the module broke so I had to removed all the connection from the.

Delivery slightly quicker than expected. Brilliant piece of kit. Needed the laggy throttle improving on Audi b8 platform and this is worth every penny. I have it in p1.9 (improved response but comfort). Helps just getting out of junctions etc. The sports modes are very impressive. No tools needed just patience and nimble fingers.

So was very skeptical of it as it was cheaper then the others. Some are 250$ others are 400$ figured for 79$ worth a try ... let me say this its as good as my expensive one in my truck . Worth buying works great no issues glad I bought this one and will buy more for my other cars
