As a 6’2 man this umbrella is perfect. I can walk with it as it has a metal tip and the wood handle is a nice quality. When in use, it is the PERFECT people blocker and space giver. Used it at Disney. People were mad but not my problem. Definitely will recommend.

I have a strong preference for wooden handle J hook umbrellas. They have a classic, classy look, and they’re incredibly practical when you have kids. Living in South Florida, an umbrella isn’t optional. I always go for the largest wooden J hook umbrella I can find, and this one delivers.It’s big enough to cover a stroller, and it makes getting in and out of the car in heavy rain much easier.**Here is a life hack for you.** I can open the car door, rest the umbrella between the roof and the door, and wedge my forearm or arm into the J hook to hold it in place. That frees up one hand to lift my kid or buckle him into the car seat, while staying mostly dry. The wind can try to blow it away and it wont go anywhere. This beats doing it all with only one hand.What I really like is that I can also take it to the office without it looking out of place. It doesn’t look like I’m carrying a bulky golf umbrella. It pairs well with work attire and actually feels like part of the outfit.For anyone looking for something practical and sharp-looking, this one gets it right.

Love this umbrella. If you're looking for a simple, black, cane umbrella - this is what you're looking for. Inexpensive enough that I don't fret when I lose it (on a train, at a bar, in an uber, or most recently - lending it to a friend) - but still looks nice enough to bring to a black-tie gala (lost it at one of those too). Apparently I've just ordered my 10th one in 5 years, but at this price point, I won't go broke.

Quality with strong bones, suitable for use as cane as well sheds rain.

the mechanical part of folding works fine, but then you have an upper and lower strap to secure the fabric and the vent sort of gaps awkwardly when closed/closing it. So minor annoyances on a product that otherwise is fantastic..when open its tight and does a beautiful job of keeping the sun off of two people.. have not yet used it for rain but I'm sure it will do well there too.

What is not to live about this umbrella but just an FYI it has 2 fasteners to keep it closed first time using it i didn’t notice it and struggled for a minute. This umbrella will fit 2 easy and i love the size because I walk from a parking garage a block away from my job am sometimes pick up a friend. It’s pretty light and the cover is great it has a strap on it to sling it over your shoulder. Love it!

Very durable for the crazy rainy season here in NYC, with the wind tunnels we get in manhattan

While still cannot convince my pup to stay under it when raining out, it works, looks, and feels great for me. I enjoy the handle, the smooth operation, etc. Right now, recommend highly -- rainy day tested.
