Best rice cooker ever. Happy with my purchase.

This is meant for stickier style rice by default, but tweaking the temperature and My Mode settings + using a little less water below the recommended marked lines on the pot gives me the exact rice I want every time (fluffy and separated grains). The timer countdown isn't available until the last 10 minutes (or 5 on Quick mode) so that's a bit disappointing, but not a major con. The overall construction looks and feels high quality, the pot has a decent thickness. The non-stick coating is very good functionality-wise, but it does get cosmetic "micro" scratches easily even though I've only ever used the rice spatula it comes with. You can't see them unless you hold it up to the light and after a month of everyday use, it hasn't affected the rice sticking at all nor the line markings so I don't foresee this becoming a problem. One thing of note, when you set the time for the Steam function, add 10 minutes to the amount of time you need because the timer starts automatically, not when the water comes to temperature like one would think! It otherwise steamed my sweet potatoes perfectly, I love the steam basket that comes with it. It's kept my rice warm perfectly, I have never had any browning or drying out on the bottom or edges which is impressive to me since my last rice cooker always dried the rice out on the bottom. The Auto Clean was actually really helpful when I made oatmeal, it softened everything up and made it very easy to sponge away, so definitely recommend. Overall, I love this rice cooker and will be updating on using the GABA mode and Stored Rice mode in the near future.

I honestly stink at cooking rice on the stove...I never get it right. But this cooker makes it so easy that I get it right every single time. Surfaces are incredibly easy to clean, controls are straightforward and easy to follow, and this machine will last a lifetime. I use this at least twice a week and feel it was a great choice.
