LPG gas stoves or cylinders might leak. Sometimes if water/milk boils over a pan it will extinguish the flame & keep spreading the gas in kitchen.This small compact handy safety device can pick up the gas leak in the kitchen & sound an alarm. I tested it myself before believing it. Works like a charm. It also has a heat sensor for detecting fire but I could not test it.I would love the device to have smart capabilities & notifiy everyone in the house on their mobiles also with a alarm in case of leak or fire detection as the sound from device is sufficient to be heard in the kitchen but doesn't reach all corners of the house.

Terrible product!! Do not expect that it will detect gas leakage immediately!! It will need atleast 5min from gas leak initation to detect any leakage. For better results you can roast this detector on gas burner to blink and beep immediately!!

The product is good , smaller then it looks in the advert , one plug point will remain always occupied , as it works only on electricity, so no backup in case of power failureInitially I had given 4 stars, I have changed to 1 star , because of the following experience6mths my flat was closed because of COVID lockdown. When it did stop functioning , I wouldn't know .It was not working in august this year , passed the warranty. Spoke to the manufacturer -a lady , and dispatched the product by courier. No reply from her. When contacted almost after a month , she told me of a death in the family and hence couldn't attend. After another fortnight she rings saying that the product is not there with them . I send her the copy of courier and the delivery slips on whats app. Then she wanted the copy of the paper on which person signs when product is delivered . Courier said that that they look into the complaints only for a month.So long story-short , I have lost RS1799/-BAD SERVICE, and product died within a year HENCE CHANGED TO 1 STARI had given up on the product , but suddenly , a new product arrives on my door step. I cannot say as to why this happened , and the product is working . I wish it had backup of dry batteries , so CHANGED FROM 1 TO 4 STARS

I just bought my second unit for another kitchen The product is highly useful. It does what it says, it detects even the smallest amount of Gas in the air. It also detects the flammable gas from spray cans. It is useful in two ways , firstly for any leaks that may go undetected but also on occasions when you leave things unattended on the stove and thinks boil over dousing the gas flame while leaving the gas still on, it gives out a loud beep. It works with my PNG connection (piped gaslines) also with the regular LPG. They sent me a faulty piece (it had a very feeble beep) which the seller promptly replaced . If you use cooking gas, go for it. Safety should never be overlooked especially at home !

I bought 2 of these units for their excellent functionality. I was impressed with the packaging and general quality. One of these worked well immediately. However the other one had a short spark on start up and did not turn on thereafter. Attempts to contact customer service are being pursued. I believe it could just be a one-time off case.In any case, good product. Will be helpful if there is a testing mechanism to check if it actually will detect gas. An alarm function indicating end of life would be helpful as well.

Bought second one, as the first one stopped working. Now, the second one as well stopped working. It is simply ringing the alert wherever I plug it. I can't find a way to get replacement or warranty support. I now have 2 such useless devices.

I think the product does what it is supposed to in my own unscientific checks. I am a little upset about the lack of proper instructions in the product box. I was not sure how to get it to work and what the lights mean. For instance the blinking of the lights is just showing that the product is running. The problem is that this light is also the light to indicate a gas leak.Are there any periodic checks I need to run? I am not sure from the product at all.Also, what happens if I am not at home? I wish they had incorporated some kind of a remote notification system as well.
