Like the taste

I started buying this coffee when I was pregnant with our 3 year old. It was my coffee of choice when I was pregnant with our 1.5 year old as well, and during those early months of nursing him. I generally drink the regular Donut Shop coffee now and can honestly not detect a difference in taste between the regular and decaf, nor can my husband (although he'd tell you he can if you were to ask him. I've fibbed a couple times and given him decaf and he always tells me what a good cup of coffee I've given him.). I always keep Donut Shop decaf around the house for those times we have a guest who desires decaf or for those nights when I'd like a cup of coffee after dinner but still want to go to sleep at a decent hour. I've purchased this product many times over the past 4 years and will continue to do so. If you're looking for a decaf that doesn't taste watery, but rather retains a full bodied taste of regular, you'll like Donut Shop's decaf. I highly recommend it.

I've tried to make myself switch to decaf part time but have never found a decent coffee, and especially espresso beans (my morning tradition). I happened to grab one of these Donut Shop pods out of my mothers cabinet while visiting and forgot how good the coffee was, in pods. Later she mentioned decaf to someone and I asked where it was. Well, it's right where I grabbed it from earlier. The packaging looks the same as the "decaf" on the label kind of blends in. You have to look for it.So this has gone into the Keurig pod inventory as a permanent addition.Pricing here is good, but I've found it locally in stores for about the same, and now less for a larger quantity box. Which ever why I buy it, I'm happy to be buying and keeping it on hand.

As far as decaf kcups go, this is by far my favorite. In fact, sometimes I find myself reaching for this one even in the morning when I am craving just an all around basic "all American" cup of coffee. I normally like dark roasts like Black Tiger, Obsidian, or Peet's Major Dickason's Blend(My all time favorite!!) and I actually do not like to drink decaf except for when I am having a coffee craving late at night. That is why I like to keep a decaf kcup in my kitchen. Plus, sometimes someone comes over who wants decaf coffee. So, I am surprised that I have come to love this one so much...even drinking it when I would normally have something fully caffeinated and fully dark. This coffee just tastes great any time of the day and is a great one to keep on hand.

This is a very solid decaf coffee. Often, decaf is not as tasty as you would like it too be. Thankfully, this coffee is a welcome exception. I don't typically like very strong coffees, but this coffee is not bitter or overly bold. It's comparable to what you would expect from a coffee shop but easy to make at home. I'm delighted that a decaf version of this coffee is available now, since the non-decaf is one of my favorites. The decaf version is also a favorite for afternoons, when I like to avoid caffeine. This is a great coffee, neither too strong nor too mild. It's a nice, all-round choice for those of us who like a decaf once in a a while.

Donut shop coffee is a great tasting coffee. If you just want a good cup of coffee without artificial flavors added, you can't go wrong with this one. The decaf tastes the same as the caffeinated.I was pleasantly surprised with the cost of the decaf, I normally buy a generic brand of Donut shop (Victor Allen is a good brand), they are much cheaper, but this decaf is a great price. Try to find the caffeinated at this price...

One of the (if not just THE) best decaffeinated coffees I've ever had and totally great if I want that coffee taste but I already hit my max caffeine for the day. I've tried other decafs, but this tastes the best and is the strongest. I have it with flavored creamers but you can still taste the coffee (a must!). I haven't been impressed with other decafs I've tried; this still stands on the top of the heap. Which is surprising because I HATE the caffeinated version of this brand. Pretty funny, huh? Oh, well. Can't argue with flavor!

I bought a couple of boxes of this coffee when it was reasonable and really enjoyed it. I drink only decaf and am always on the hunt for good K-Cups. The Donut Shop Decaf has a nice full-bodied flavor and good aroma. Sadly, I had to stop purchasing it when the price went up way too high. Do some of the K-Cup sellers on Amazon think we K-Cup lovers were born yesterday? We're not going to overpay just because you're selling it on Amazon.
