I have read negative reviews regarding these shears but having used regularly since purchase, cannot understand why this should be so. Having used other brands withe lessers charge capacity, these are superb in every detail. The quick and simple method of blade change is a definite plus as is the safety 'plug' which, renders the cutters inoperable when removed and a sensible boon when changing blades. I followed a previous customers tips and using thin cord, formed a wrist band whichI attached to the plug so as not to lose if snagged and accidentally dropped in the debris during use. Initial charge was relative short and the battery life is excellent. Fo example I have completed light trims over several bushes numerous times since purchase, still on the original charge. I do recommend a spray of W40 prior to and after use, just to keep the blades free of sap. All round an excellent purchase, light and so easy to use. I am 90 years of age and have arthritic hands, so these have been a well worth addition to my garden tools, many of which I am no longer able to use such as hand shears etc. I certainly have no connections with the company so ask readers to be satisfied my praise for the product is of genuine intent.

This gives the same level of satisfaction as buzz cutting someone’s hair might. Perfect for those edges of grass the lawn mower can’t get to. The longer attachment is good for branches or small hedges. So much easier than manually doing it. Lightweight and easy to work. Only annoying thing is having to use a wrench to switch the blades but i will get over it.

Great ,easy to do and not heavy to hold.noisey but made well.be very careful they cut well so keep hands well away.im 58 and edge the garden it takes 15 minutes so makes the job easy .its cordless so charge up and go.also has hedge trimmer

Really needed something small to keep horsetail in check from a neighbouring property whose owner is unable to tackle the spread of it. Having Arthritis of the hands and wrists myself, I've been struggling to use manual tools and needed to source a simpler and easier solution. Came across these by accident and grabbed them like my life depended on it. Definitely one of the best garden buys I've made. Very simple to use and has cut down the labour of tackling that blasted horsetail (used the grass cutting blade), which has helped prevent too much pain for me. Then used the hedge blade to trim back my golden privet, hebes and to neaten a couple of Euonymus Fortunei shrubs. Did find I needed to use both hands at times when trimming hedging. I love the fact you can switch blades which makes it one of the most versatile garden tools I own. Seems to be of a good quality too and although I found it a tad heavy at times, that is my issue and wouldn't be a problem for those who don't have hand/wrist problems. I used it straight from the box and the battery lasted well over 40 minutes, charged fairly quickly and being cordless meant I wasn't liable to trip over cords. Acting on another persons' review I did attach a cord to the safety key and wrapped it around my wrist. I'm very pleased with this purchase and for the price paid, I think it is a bargain.

The trimmer is grand,works well. However I have emailed the company to asking for advice on how the safety lock works, as I cannot find any reference to it in the instructions booklet. I'm still waiting for a reply. I hope the purpose of the lock is unimportant!!

Great tool, could do with a bit more power for thicker branches but otherwise ideal. Battery range very good

Useful tool for us senior folk. It's light and simple to use. Best used to clip new growth rather than much thicker, older stems. Vibration is acceptable and it does not cause discomfort.
