I had to update the tuner before I could use it but it was a simple process and didn’t take but a few minutes. The tuner has several aspects to allow you to change some of your stock settings which is a nice feature. It plugs into your OBD port and once you load a tune, you can unplug it, no need to keep it plugged in. It comes with three tunes but you can access more via the internet for those wanting to tweak their engines even more. I loaded the performance tune to my diesel and wow, it made a HUGE difference in the power, probably added 100+ horsepower to my truck! I changed to the towing tune which boosted the HP and also the torque and it made a big difference when towing our 42’ fifth wheel. So far, MPG has not really went up or down but the truck definitely pulls a lot easier with the tune loaded. I’m really happy with this tuner for its ease of use and competitive price. I feel as if it is a well designed product and will definitely add performance to whatever vehicle you use it on.
