works well
Replaced my folding closet doors with this hidden sliding door rail set. This kit is comes with everything you need to get a new door (not included) up and running. You will need tools, the instructions help guide you through every step of the process. This set is great quality, no issues thus far. Slides smooth, soft close feature and no rails visible. Recommend!

Love it
I like the idea of barn doors, but hate the hardware look. This is great. Slides smoothly and was fairly simple to install. I'm really happy with it

Disappointing Quality for the Price
These 48-inch brackets are specifically designed for a 48-inch door, but unfortunately, they do not properly support the door's weight (not even a heavy door, just a wide door). Despite correct installation and ensuring everything was tightened, the bracket shifts and moves, making the door feel unstable and sometimes even off-track when it's still on track.I even paid extra for a second professional opinion on the install (and now a 3rd), only to confirm that the bracket simply isn’t strong enough for the intended door size (44-inch opening). Since the doors were designed around this bracket, I can't just swap to a different one.For $128 per bracket, I expected much better quality. While the main bracket and rollers are metal, the bottom insert and soft-close components are plastic, which seems to be a weak point. The door is supported with one bracket on tiny rollers. Overall, this product is overpriced and underperforms—very disappointing. Product support never answered me.

Decent for the money, not for the novice DIYer
Not exactly what I would call an easy job for a novice DIYer but doable if you've got the right tools. The biggest hurdle is milling out the track in the bottom of the door for the keeper/rollers.I recommend these main tools for the job:-Table saw with Dato stack blade or jig to run a dato with a regular blade.-Router with adjustable depth, and door jig to guide you along milling the door-Wood carving chisels to clean up the milled out bottom for the rollers.- cordless drill- bubble level- tape measure- a miter/chop saw if you're cutting this kit down to fit your door. (We used this kit in a 28" door)Only giving this 3 stars because the instructions aren't that great, and also the design of the "keeper" roller part that mounts directly to the floor really prevents the door from fully opening or closing all the way so you either end up with a 2" gap when closed or you lose 2" of doorway when opened because it prevent it from sliding back completely. This is because you have to compensate for the bottom rollers you mill into the bottom of the door which are 2" wide. Door width may play a part in this, but with this design no matter what way you look at it, you will have to over size the door to the doorway in order to make it fit correct. All in, it's still one of the more affordable options and isn't as gaudy majority of the barn door designs that are out there. Still worth a buy.

Fantastic for Mid-Century Homes!
I've been wanting a barn door for our kitchen but didn't like all the black hardware that is on the market. This is PERFECT for our mid-century house and helps us add a door stylishly in the mid-century style and draws minimal attention.

The best thing that ever happened to the bedroom closet door!
We had a custom closet put in the primary bedroom shortly after we moved into our new home...and we absolutely love it. BUT...we HATE the closet door. It's one of those annoying folding doors that are generally put in homes because they are inexpensive. So we decided to replace that but given the layout of the room, we thought it would be best to do a barn door but the hardware had to be hidden also due to the layout. This kit is exactly what we needed to get this project done (Besides the door of course, which is NOT included),. Everything is right in the box to get a 38" door mounted with little effort provided you know what you are doing and are comfortable using tools. Even if you aren't, this kit is still very easy to use - it comes with great instructions that take you through the process step by step.It is very nice quality hardware, fits the door well (be sure you have a door with a groove!) and it's soft close, so it is very quiet which is exactly what we were hoping for.If you are looking for one of these kits to put in a barn door in a bedroom, bathroom, closet, or anywhere, this one is a fantastic choice and a great price too. You really can't go wrong with it - highly recommend!!
