nice writing pencil. im more into collecting and using technical pencils, which this IS NOT. but as a writing implement, it is very nice.

I have been on a good Pen hunt for months (I take a lot of notes), tried a dozen different brands/styles - these pens really do feel nice when writing, and they so far (after many weeks) have never stopped flowing ink (many I tried just skip areas on cheap paper).They are not overly expensive, but feel really well made in the hand - have become the only pens I use now.

I’ve mainly used the m-301 in the past and compared the that this pencil is fantastic. The main problem I’ve experienced with the m-301 is lead breaking easily and that the pencil would stop working at some point in time. With m-701 I’ve had yet to experience that, I even bought extra lead cases because I had expected the lead to break just as easily, but it’s the complete opposite. Over the course of owning the pencil and using it righteously during my time at school I don’t think the lead had even broken on me maybe twice over a 1-4 month school time period but that’s it and most likely that was me genuinely apply a substantial amount of pressure to the lead. However my only and forever gripe about zebras pencils is that the erasers just fade away to easily I spend more time buying erasers than I do with lead. Other than that the m-701 is my daily driver.

Love these mechanical pencils from Zebra. The case is sturdy & feels good in your hand. The extra fine lead leave your writing clean & crisp. The only down side is that the tip easily damages if you accidentally drop it, then you can’t write with it anymore. Still my go to pencil though.

Always have it in my back pocket, inside a write in the rain booklet, it endures that without flinching vs other pencils that have bent, broken, or shattered from contact with my buns of steel. not a mark on it after months of everyday carry still have the little eraser cover too, which I was concerned about losing since it sticks out above my pocket but it's hung in there which surprised me considering it's had ample opportunities to free itself.

Amazing quality!! Feels heavy and sturdy, came with some lead inside. Really enjoy this mechanical pencil would recommend to anyone looking for a good quality one!

Feels great in the hand! I thought the metal grip would be uncomfortable, but it's not. Feels like a pen I want to keep forever. The marking is not as bold as a pilot g2, but very consistent and writes very nicely
