Tones red allllllll the way out!
Ignore the bad reviews. Seriously. My hair fades reeeeeeally red after getting it colored (professionally). This restored the color I originally had done at the salon. 100/10 if youโre trying to tone reds out of brown hair. Iโm shocked honestly. Left it for maybe 4 mins on just shampooed hair that I wrung out in the shower. Picture outside is when it was faded and red. Picture with yellow wall in the background is after this tone and gloss. Genuinely in shock at how well it worked!

Did not do the job
I wish I had read the reviews. I usually do. This has no green in it. It washes out purple and my towel has purple all over it. So it immediately does not contain what it needs to tone down red. This was literally money down the drain for me

Why the bad reviews?? Truly a red tone eliminator
*I already had medium-dark (leaning more dark but nowhere near black) hair that was previously dyed several weeks before using this product* My hair was washed and dried from the day, but once the Amazon package arrived I re-wet it with a spray bottle and applied the product. I was generous but my hair wasn't dripping with product. Tried to apply an even coat on primarily the top layers of hair (where it fades the fastest). My hair pulls warm, so I had a considerable amount of red tones showing. I let the product sit for 30min, yes, thirty whole minutes. I rinsed (no shampoo or other conditioner to follow) and dried/styled my hair with my usual routine. When I say this stuff nearly eliminated all the brassy & red tones, I mean it with my full chest. After drying my hair I looked at it in natural lighting and this stuff worked pretty darn great after 1 application. The steep price is worth it to me. I have yet to see how it fades over time, but the instructions say to not wash your hair for at least 48hrs after application, so I have hopes it will survive a few showers afterwards. I plan on using this again once a hint of red/brassy tones start showing again, but since I used the product at peak brass, I'm convinced it'll take care of it on an "as needed" basis. Things to note: โขThe product bottle is rather small, which is unfortunate. โขYou must wear gloves when applying this, it will stain your skin. โขThe green shade specifically will slightly darken your hair!! **If you don't want a darker result, do not use this, as the shade I purchased is specifically for darker brunettes. (I like a slightly dark neutral hair, so this works well for me)** โขIf you are a religious daily hair washer, maybe skip this, as you must be able to go at least 2-3 days between washes post-application for optimal performance. โขFor the love of everything good, LET IT SIT FOR MORE THAN 20min ~ I stand by my method of 30min.

A little goes a lonnnnng way
Letโs start that my hair started as a red orange pumpkin nightmare. I saw a review saying their hair turned green. I was like I need. So when it came, I put it on like a semi perm color all over. Donโt. Do. This. Dilute it. Also it was purple as I was putting on so I was like great this isnโt green. My hair started as a level 7-8 (the pics look darker) and this dropped me down to a 3. It went DARK. The orange is gone though. I didnโt wash my hair for a week and a half after, only deep conditioned and rinsed. A bit came out which made it not so dark. I finally deep cleansed it yesterday and itโs def lighter. The red is there but not bad at all. The front and ends are still darker than the center since I pumped the product in my hand and directly applied to spots. Again donโt do this. I am still iffy on it but keeping as I think if I need to I can dilute and reapply. Pics below. The last one is the current state after finally washing.

Silver lining
My grays loved this! Brought out the beautiful silver that was hidden!

It was it was okay
I was hoping for more with this product. It didn't lighten the hair as much as I would have liked and I felt like it was drying.

Great for gray hair blending while growing out
Use this on my natural gray/brown hair color. It turns my reddish brown hair more of a darker mushroom brown which helps it blend better with my grays. It also darkens the white silver streaks on my crown to more of a mushroom gray which I like. So rather then higher contrast I had before, it all blends better. Plus it softens the hair a LOT. You can use every four weeks but I use every 2-3 weeks. I usually clarify first and then dry hair about 60%, apply for five minutes and then rinse thoroughly.

Amazing!
Wow this works great ! I was sceptical because I have tried products like this before that do nothing, but I really noticed a difference with this. Donโt be shy with how much you put on and make sure itโs combed through evenly , leave on for the full 5 minutes

Worth a try
It helped with shine, and didn't dry my hair out. It didn't really help with the yellow a lot but it has toned it down. I'll leave it on longer next time to see.

Works ok
Darkened my hair a bit, but didnโt seem to get rid of the red undertone like I was hoping for. Maybe worked a tiny bit.

Not a green toner
Not for red tones. The toner turns purple when it oxidizes, very quickly i might add. To rid red tones you need green. Purple is to remove yellow. So this did absolutely nothing for my hair. It makes it soft for sure but doesn't tone red but is advertised as a green toner. So false advertising.
