Wish I would have purchased this years ago!!!
One of my best purchases. This slicer works!! Delivered yesterday. After cleaning it, I started slicing so many things to give it a try. Sourdough bread, hard cheese, cucumbers, onions and a turkey breast for lunch meat. Everything turned out perfect. The blade adjustment width allowed me to get a shaved lunch meat and normal cuts. Oh and the clean up - was easy and I felt confident that it was cleaned thoroughly. If you’re considering a home slicer - this one is amazing.

Works Fine for My Needs
Cutting block cheese and half hams to make sandwiches. Saves money over pre-sliced and I can choose my own thickness. Machine works great. Easy to clean. No complaints. Glad I got it.

Decent slicer for home use
I bought this intentionally for slicing homemade bacon and shaving super thin ribeye for philly cheesesteak meat. My first use was with two half slabs of homemade smoked bacon. Got it out of the box and setup and immediately noticed an issue. The sliding platform is pretty small. Definitely cannot hold a half slab of bacon. So I cut the slab in half. Next issue, you couldn't slice the bacon lengthwise because there wasn't enough room due to the upright edge of the slide table. No way to adjust anything to accommodate this size of meat. Would be nice if there was an extension available and the side guide could fold flat for a longer cut of meat. I initially sliced the first 1/4 slab on the short side. It cut beautifully but wasn't happy with the size. I finally worked a way to cut it lengthwise by draping the meat over the side guide and pushing the meat through the blade until it fell onto the slide then finished the cut. Not the safest way to cut it but it worked. Much happier with the cut. Let's talk about the push guard. Plastic piece that fits over the slide platform and is supposed to push the meat against the slicer back and keep the meat in place. The little plastic spikes that are supposed to hold whatever you're cutting are pitiful. Might be fine for cheese or bread, but it would not keep the bacon in place especially as the meat slab got smaller and lighter. The meat would stick to the slicing wheel and shoot off the other side. No matter how hard I pressed against the meat. Stability - Excellent. Slicer stayed in place and didn't move when operating. Slide guard needs to have longer or sharper spikes to hold the meat in place. Sturdiness - The machine itself feels well built and should last a lifetime. I'm not as confident with the plastic slide table and the plastic guard. They are stiff plastic that feels like could become brittle and break over time. Versatility - with the straight blade and the serrated blade it should offer the ability to slice a variety of items. Breads, meats, cheeses. The thickness guide works very well. I have only sliced meat so far but it did very well. Time-saving - it took very little time getting through the 4 pieces of bacon slabs that I had to cut. Nice even cuts and the thickness all the same. It took a lot longer to cut a single slab of bacon by hand and my cuts weren't uniform in thickness. So I'm very happy with this part. Sharpness - I only used the straight blade so far but it did extremely well. The sharp blade allowed me to cut the oversized slab of meat without much trouble. Dull = dangerous and I felt safe while cutting even if it was awkward. Size - everything is good except the slide table. Needs to have the ability to have an extension attachment and a way to fold the side down for longer cuts. Deli cuts and charcuterie cuts are going to be a breeze though. The catch tray could stand to be bigger also. Cleanup - I thought cleaning the unit after was easy. Slide table and slide rod easily come apart from the base. Slide table, rod, push guard, blade and catch tray all went in dishwasher and came out clean. We made sure the plastic was on top rack to avoid any chance of melting. The base I just wiped off the bigger bits, used anti-bacterial cleaner to clean all surfaces, paying attention to any and all crevices, then wiped dry with a clean towel. Just take your time and be thorough to keep things sanitary.

Great tool
Easy to clean. Easy to use. Safe with ordinary care. Take care of it and it will slice your meats perfectly. We now buy whole sausage and slice it ourselves. Great for making German Roladen or Italian Brasolle.

Quiet, powerful, precise, long cord, easy cleaning, and it sticks firmly to the counter.
This has been a very high quality slicer so far. I've had it for a few weeks and use it mostly for cheese, meat, and bread; it's handled them flawlessly. First, this is a VERY quiet machine, and it sticks solidly to my countertop with its suction-cup feet. The thickness adjustment knob is on the back, off to the left side, so it's easy to get to but not in my way at all. The cord is also a decent length, a HUGE plus since most machines nowadays have wussy 2' cords. I tried all widths of slices with soft and hard cheeses, and it doesn't matter...they all slice perfectly from beginning to end, and I even sliced some extra sharp cheddar so thin that I could literally read a magazine article's printing through the cheese. (This is extremely handy, btw, for putting a thin cheese topper on baked snacks...just enough cheese to taste w/o overpowering my cracker toppings.) Lastly, there's no assembly...just clean it with a quick wipe-down and use. (There are a pair of blade protectors that need to be removed first, btw, but those are just there to protect the blade during shipping.) Also, cleaning's a breeze...even the blade has a nice little tab that rotates a little, unlocking the blade, and is super easy to put back when dried.

Well worth the money & good investment
I've had the Slicer for a week and used it twice. This is what I learned: If you are cutting fresh meat its best to partially freeze it maybe 1 - 2 hours. It's not difficult to clean, remove the blade and the arm (wash in soapy water). There is less mess if the meat is partially frozen. I think if its too frozen you will work the Slicer to hard. The suction worked fine i placed it on a large bew cookie sheet to catch the meat. The motor is not too loud and the speed and size are perfect and not intimidating at all. I sliced a brisket & pork belly very thin for pho and hot pot the blades are sharp and work well. By using the instructions and my simple ideas this Slicer will last a long time. Also you can easily change the blade in a matter of minutes. Enjoy this affordable slicer.

Buen producto
