I love this game and with this expansion I'm having a lot of fun

The game comes with excellent quality miniatures! Excellent levels of detail and quality of casting! They are painting up very nicely!

My copy arrived in great condition. One thing i noticed is that the quality of investigator boards are less sturdy compared to core season. Also the tentacles color quality has degraded. It is fun to play. Mix and matching characters and elder ones with my core box and black goat add tons of replayability.

I have gotten the chance to play every episode and use the new characters.First the negatives- The insanity cards are a different shade on the back than season 1 so the cards are not uniform- The cultist are bright red compared to the less flamboyant cultist of season 1- Some Scenarios with Azathoth can be unwinnable if you have bad luck on card draws with consecutive Cosmic Upheaval Mythos card draws.- 1 episode in season 3 requires you to flick a dice and if you are bad at flicking dice, you can lose the game because of thisOtherwise, this expansion gives amazing additional content, and ability to customize your difficulty level. Everything is backwards compatible with Season 1 & 2. Unknown monsters can let you give any episode a flavor of what mythos monsters you want. The new Old Ones are great. Relics help give that extra random ability in the game to guide the odds in your favor without being completely overpowered. The new extra investigators have some great abilities. The episodes in season 3 have good mechanics and they are all different than the episodes in season 1 and 2 so it doesn't feel like they just rehashed the old episodes. By adding Season 3 Fear of the Unknown AND season 4, you get extreme variability to your games.

Can't comment on the game when it arrives missing so many pieces. I stockpile things to use as placeholders in games. It goes with having involved, active cats. This one though . . . it would've taken all my spare parts plus pennies, nickles, and dimes to make it playable.

Only 4 stars for this one. Was great to get this game as its been difficult to find. However it arrived unsealed (not plastic sealed), all terrain and tokens were loose in the box (usually they are on card stock ready for you to punch out). The Season 3 Episode 1 box had been opened and the cards unsealed. I spent some time double checking to make sure nothing was missing. All there and in good order so happy to keep the game.However unlike every other Cmon game I've received a lot of loose components implying its a "as new" rather than new game.

I have received FIVE copies of this game and each have been defective. When this happens, you are asked to return the whole game and get a new version to replace the mini.I have purchased this four times now and Julien has been badly warped (with a warped base) each time. It's literally impossible to get a good copy.When I first posted this review I only had three. I am updating it every time I get a bad one when doing a replacement.

Lindos componentes, las minis son muy bonitas pero, la dificultad del juego es tan baja que no representa ningún reto para gente ya experta en juegos de mesa. Hasta llega a ser aburrido. Yo lo jugué 1 vez y lo cambié por otro juego egos tipo euro de dificultad alta.
