Packs a Punch with Features (Best Bang for Buck)
Best bang for buck when it comes to electrical probing. Back in the day I was using Power Probe's equipment and yes it gets the job done but with this Autel one it changes the game. With all the functions and features that this probe brings it's needless to say that electrical diagnosis will get easier; of course if you know what you're doing. In the department of design it feels familiar as the one from Power Probe since the design of the body is quite similar. When it comes to build quality I can certainly say that it's sturdy and feels high quality in the hands. When used it greets you with different options to measure voltage, ohms, continuity and other electrical diagnosis. Something that threw me off from this was the cycle duty which I genuinely did not expect it to have so I don't really have to use a multi-meter. Needless to say, whether you're a mechanic, electrician or something along those trades this tool is definitely an amazing buy!

Same as power probe but it does more and is cheaper.
I compared this to a power probe and this product does the same and more. The extra cable makes it easier to work with cars as well as trucks or trailers. Easy to use, connectivity and portability are good. I have own this Autel power scan for a few months and i can say is durable and it performs excellent.

Great tool
For those who are new to power probes. Do not just start applying power to circuits without disconnecting connectors and isolating the circuit or device First. If you just apply power to the harness with out isolating what you are testing you could quickly back feed the wires and damage other components like modules or ECM's. Always isolate circuit before testing. If you don't you are providing techs like myself with job security when frie electronics. This is my second power probe from Autel same brand same model! It is super good quality lead and lots of length which is super nice working on dump trucks with long trailers!! The display and multi function is great and saves many trips back to the tools box to get a meter!! I wish the circuit breaker was service friendly as My previous probe that's what decided to fail and I have not been able to find a replacement breaker yet... I may just solder in some wire leads and a fuse block and keep it around as a spare.

Solid tool
I’ve been using this for the past few years on a daily basis. If you get a back probe set with it, you’ll barely bust out the multimeter. Just make sure if you’re shooting power anywhere that you’re not going to fry the circuit by back feeding it. Also, I’ve found that using AC mode on automotive sensors that pulse (crank sensor etc.) you can get a solid reading almost like a cheap oscilloscope.
