I found this metal mason jar after a late night disaster with a glass mason jar. I was scalding breast milk for my baby and cracked the glass mason jar…ended up losing around half a liter of breast milk. That prompted a rapid search for something that wouldn’t break on me, and this metal mason jar has been the ticket! I also bought a pour spout for a regular mason jar and it fit perfectly on this metal one…makes it super easy to use. Not just for my intended use, but also for protein shakes/water bottle/snack carrier.As a wide mouth style jar, it is quite easy to clean and maintain. The only issue I could see people having is that it is a single wall jar, so it wouldn’t necessarily keep things hot or cold for a long period of time. I wouldn’t recommend drinking your morning coffee out of this, as it would definitely burn your hands…but, that’s to be expected for a single wall anything!I would definitely recommend this product as a durable and convenient alternative to glass mason jars!

Super disappointed with this product. I have used the glass Mason Bottles and Nipples for my daughters entire 1st year of life and loved them! So I purchased this to be her water cup now that's she's walking and I didn't want her walking with a glads bottle. The threading on the cup seems to be off because when I twist on my mason jar lid it's always crooked. This allows water to leak from the lid. I knew the straws weren't leak proof because I've used them with my glass bottles but the threading isn't an issue with the glass bottles.

So you pay 13-15 for just the bottle... and the company doesn't even offer a lid/cap that you could buy even if you wanted to... oh and nipples also sold separately. What a headache.

I tried 3 different brands of reusable 1 piece mason jar lids and they all fit these jars. Maybe other reviewers who said they didn't fit were using the canning lids? I bought these for camping to pack liquids in the cooler and have been looking for stainless steel mason jars for sometime for this purpose. I do wish they were sold without paint or a finish on the outside to make them more affordable and I'm not a fan of the 3 colors they have available. But I'm very happy I finally have a stainless steel container my stainless steel jar lids fit. The lids I'm using are sold on Amazon; "Eco Peaceful 316 Surgical Stainless Steel Mason Jar Lids".

One of my seniors had been drinking her coffee from a Jelly jar. She just likes a jar. Not a mason jar either. She is 99. I bought this a a mason top and asked her if she liked it could I trade her for the Jelly jar. She agreed. I explained during the trade I was concerned about breakage and that there is no risk by her using the metal mason jar. ...safe senior, happy Director.

I really wanted this to be “the” cup for my 3 & 5 year olds to get away from the plastic supply cups. The rest of the family uses glass mason jars with snap open lids, but the mason bottle did not fit the lids. The threads are wrong and so no matter how carefully I twist it on, it screws on crooked. I love the concept of this bc of the versatility of being able to use various mason jar lids but in unfortunately that one feature appears to be it’s weak point. I’ll be looking for a different stainless cup for my kiddos.

Works as expected and thought it would be bigger

This is a fabulous substitute for regular glass canning jars as we use jars for drinking glasses and often break them as we use them outside. We paired these with the drinking lids that can be opened/closed and secured with a regular canning jar ring.Only thing is we wish they made the larger quart size canning jars in metal as those are the size we drink from and these are the smaller pint sized jars.
