Just make sure you properly press down the lid until it clicks – that’s key to getting a solid vacuum. It’s also got a built-in cutter which makes life easier when using rolls. The starter bags included are decent quality and got me going right away. Although I mainly bought it for sous vide, I’ve ended up using it for general food storage too – batch-cooked meals, bits for the freezer, even opened snacks. Keeps stuff fresher for longer and cuts down on waste. Only slight gripe is that delicate items can get a bit crushed, but that’s kind of expected with vacuum sealing – just need to be a bit careful. Where to even begin... this product is seriously going to change my life, and I totally wish I'd gotten it sooner! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works perfectly straight out of the box!

I love this! I'd never used a vacuum sealer before but the instructions are really clear and easy to follow. I was able to literally just plug it in and use it straight away. It comes with good-size bags so you have everything you need , and the machine comes with a setting that allows you to use different brands of bags also. The vacuum was quick and quiet and very impressive. Then closes with a perfect seal. I've yet to use it for anything wet but there is a setting for that. It seems well made and like it'll last a long time. I'm excited to try more things with it!
