The back plate on this - which you don't really notice in pics- is gray and very cheap looking. The assembly of it is also not simple - shows its quality. You would not want to install it in a sitting area, as the light is quite piercing through the beads - not a comfortable one to look at. This may work in a hallway, not where you look at it for more than a few moments.

Excellent on my wall. Very pretty and it isn't too big or small.
