Pretty decent
I’ve never had this type of tea before. I was worried it would be too strong but it’s pretty mellow. I add honey to mine and it’s good

A Different Kind of Tea to Start Your Day :)
It doesn’t taste like regular L*pton or other roasted teas. The color is a warm brown after steeping, so I’m assuming it’s roasted. It tastes kind of like seaweed, the kind you find on sushi. I read that this means it’s a high quality tea. It’s also quite strong, but not too bitter. There is a bitterness, though. There’s the teeniest bit of a floral flavor to it, too. It’s very interesting. I like it. I’ve never had a tea quite like this before. I feel as though my horizons have broadened a bit :)I like my tea with sugar and I had these new syrups so I put caramel syrup in it. It tasted amazing, but completely wiped out the taste of the pu’er. I don’t recommend adding syrups to this tea because then the flavor of the tea gets lost.I think I forgot to mention that this is loose leaf tea. I steeped it in my tea cup that comes with a strainer (very handy!). It comes in a resealable foil bag. It wasn’t hard to reseal it. The Best By date is November 29th, 2026 (it’s in super small letters on the tag on the back).Much interesting!

Needle like leaves
This looks very similar to a Silver Ceylon tea from India. Also brews up with a touch of apricot flavor - much like Silver Ceylon. This tea is delicate and comes to life on second steep.

Not a Leave It and Forget It Tea!
This is a fantastic loose-leaf tea, but like others have mentioned, getting the steeping right is key. I’ve been especially interested in Pu'erh tea since reading The Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane, and I have to say this is one of my favorites. There’s a bit of a learning curve, but if you’re patient, it’s worth it. When brewed correctly, you’ll get the perfect balance of nutty and earthy flavors. Highly recommend!

Authentic Chinese Tea
When I traveled to China on business, my Chinese translator advised me to stock up on Puerh tea. She whispered in my ear that Chinese women use it to "maintain their shape." Taking that as a hint, I packed my return suitcase with the tea and avowed to drink it. I can't promise that it helps with the figure, but the the tea is delicious. I've missed it since I've run out. So I was excited to order this bag (especially since it is organic). And wow! It's the real deal. So good. If you love Chinese black tea, I can heartily recommend this one. And it's a very good value to boot.
