We don't have a treadmill, but we do have an exercise bench that gets folded up and stored in a corner when it is not in use. I got this to put under the bench when we're using it to protect the floor and our feet.The mat arrived rolled up tightly and it was easy to open and lay out on the floor for use. The edge that was most tightly curled in the roll held the curl on the floor, but when I put the bench legs on the curl it went away. When the bench was put away, the curl came back. I rolled the mat back up, but in reverse to try to get the curl out and the next time I brought the bench out the curl was much less of a potential trip hazard. I still put the bench on the curled edge for safety, but after a few weeks the curl is almost completely gone.The mat feels nice under my bare feet and it is easy to clean with a vacuum. It takes up about the same amount of space as a thick yoga mat when it is rolled up and it does a good job keeping the exercise bench from scooting around on the floor when we're using it. I'm happy with it.
