I bought these dumbbells for my son to use during his recovery after pitching, and they’ve been perfect. The rubber coating provides a comfortable grip and helps protect the floor, and the weights feel well made and durable. They’ve been a great addition to his rehab and strength training routine. Nice product, as described. The best part is the grip. It is very comfortable in the hand. It has a slight curve to it and fits very well in the hand; holding it is very comfortable. I bought a pair of these. The rubber coating is rather smelly! A few months back I bought another pair and the smell went away after some time. Great overall product.

Good Quality, construction, rubber covered. Cap makes some decent products. I actually realized I prefer black grip vs chrome. Who knew.

The handle selections are nice. Otherwise, it's your rubber coated hex weights just like you ordered. They come individually boxed so your driver doesn't have to completely hate you.

As others have said, they showed up smelling like and covered in some kind of oil. How water and Dawn cleaned them up easy enough. Just weird. We’ll see how they hold up long term, but they seem to be decent

They are great! Started my home gym during covid in 2021 and they still look light new. Great quality, great grib on them. Like most of the rubber dumbbells, they will leave marks if you rub them on the wall or floor, but that's very common.

Looking for a more solid, gym-style feel, these CAP Barbell 25 lb coated hex dumbbells with black handles stand out, especially when compared to neoprene-coated weights. The alloy steel handle has a more compact diameter, which makes a noticeable difference for smaller hands. Both my boyfriend and I find them easier and more comfortable to grip during exercises. The medium-depth knurling adds extra grip and helps keep the weights secure in hand. With a combination of alloy steel and durable rubber coating, these feel very sturdy and well-built, giving more confidence during heavier lifts. They’re also slightly more compact than neoprene dumbbells of similar weight, which makes them easier to control. The hex shape prevents rolling, and unlike some other dumbbells, these have flat ends that allow them to be placed upright, which is useful for certain exercises and adds versatility. They’re also easy to store alongside other weights without shifting around. There is a slight smell, but it’s not overpowering and hasn’t been an issue for us. All things considered, these feel like a step up in quality and have become our preferred option for strength training. Highly recommend!
