This is advertised as oil based and it ruined my chocolate. I tried it a second time to see if it was this paint and again ruined

Does the job!
I used this food coloring to color some almond bark. It worked fine, but I definitely needed more drops than I do with other brands! The color is as expected. The dropper is nice and won’t leak everywhere like with some other kids of lids!

Does not color melted chocolate
I chose this product because the description indicated it would color chocolate . It does nothing to change the color of melted chocolate. It does change the color of melted white chocolate. You can paint the product on chocolate that has not been melted but it doesn't show up very well. It does show well painted on white chocolate. The oil base does blend well in melted white chocolate without causing the chocolate to seize up. The product has no discernible taste. There were no instructions at all to guide as to how much of the product to use to achieve desired results.
