waterproof bandage

These are AWESOME! I use them on my elderly parents mostly, as they are in their 70s & 80s, so their skin is like paper. These go on so perfectly after cleaning & putting meds/antibiotic on torn skin or scrapes & scratches (or any boo-boo). Once they are on the skin & covering is removed, they are so unnoticeable! They help with healing and protecting further damage! And YES! I've used them on my tattoos also! They last almost a week on properly prepared & cleaned skin. Awesome for tattoo care AND for minor wounds protection. Awesome product! It can be tricky with separation of the film coverings, but once on they are perfect.

So I scrapped my arm while falling on a turf field and got my arm real good. It was essentially a large burn that went from my elbow to a little more than halfway up my forearm. No bandages were large enough to cover it and gauze kept adhering to the wound (so painful). Now I am not medical professional so do not take this comment as medical advice. When I finally got this in, I used Vaseline over the burn (I’m allergic to Neosporin so I use Vaseline) before placing the second skin on top. The second skin allowed me to work without getting Vaseline all over the place or on my clothes and allowed me to rest my arm while working. It was also less obvious that I had hurt myself so I wasn’t constantly being asked about it. I only had to use this for maybe 4 days at work before it seemed to have healed enough to not need anything anymore. It is MUCH easier to use if there’s someone else to help you since there are 2 layers sandwiched over the second skin layer in the center.

It has really good adhesive but when I went to take it off my tattoo it took off some of the top lines so I’ll definitely have to go back and have it touched up.

Works great for showering. Works better when you wipe down the area with alcohol it sticks real good. Over all great product will order again.

Immediately had an allergic reaction after using. Don't buy this product.

Product came in fine and worked as expected BUT I started having an allergic reaction to the adhesive. I removed it and everywhere the second skin was applied was red, itchy, and swollen. Didn't have any reaction to the brand my tattoo artist used, so wasn't expecting to react to this. Benadryl helps a ton but once the Benadryl is out of my system the redness and swelling returns. Hoping that after another day or two I will be past it. Product would have been perfect otherwise. Just make sure you test it on a small section for a day or two before applying over a new tattoo.

I dont do reviews often but this bandage was better than what my artist had put on me. Very glossy and holds onto the skin very well. You're supposed to apply it like a screen protector from the middle out to reduce any airbubbles, then peel the tape.

I ordered this because after I got my tattoo, the second skin the artists applied had peeled right off due to sweat. I like that you can cut the pieces and adjust them for what size you need. I will say, the ends peel up fairly quickly so putting the product on a but further does help it stay on longer, but in the shower it did peel off. It's not waterproof so had to adjust there. I have sensitive skin and it didn't affect me at all and it's actually fairly light weight and sometimes I forgot it's on. I would say this product is okay.
