I am a rhythm guitarist and found that strings were breaking at the bridge - In particular 4th and 5th strings! I modified the point of contact to avoid sharp edges but without improvement (I have no problem using my '78 Stratocaster or 2003 Gretsch Brian Setzer at gigs - I use the Epi for pub gigs where risk of damage or loss is slightly greater).The bridge seemed exactly to size but the post holes were a very loose fit compared to the original, which had insert bushes fitte to give a smooth sliding fit. A couple of turns of chrome adhesive tape to the posts remedied that, but that is why I have given four not five stars.After fitting, setting the action and the intonation (all very easy) I was impressed by the resonance and sustain of the guitar (the neck and woodwork of the Epi is almost as good as my ES 345 custom and the guitar sounds great. The hardware is less impressive). It is early days and the next few weeks of gigs will tell. As of now I am very pleased with the bridge and know that there are no sharp contours to stress the strings. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The bridge itself is very well made and suitably sturdy. This roller bridge fits perfectly using the original mounting studs and has helped to stabilise the tuning when using a Bigsby. The bridge itself is very well made and suitably sturdy.
