My son and I both love it, we highly recommend it!
I have two headsets: I got a Quest 3 last year, and in October, I bought a Quest 3S for my son so we could play games together. I used to have a different strap, but unfortunately, the battery completely died recently, so I had to get a new strap. This time, I wanted to buy one for both the Quest 3 and the 3S.After doing some research, I found out there aren't many options for detachable battery packs. I narrowed it down to the BOBO S3 and Sonicgrace S3. The BOBO S3 was pretty pricey—if I got the battery and charging dock together, it would cost over $200, and from my experience with head straps, I realized that the fan isn’t really necessary and just adds extra weight—So I decided to pass on that.In the end, I got the Sonicgrace S3 Pro, which comes with one battery pack, and the Sonicgrace S3 Duo, which has two battery packs and a charging dock. Now my son and I can share three battery packs and one charging dock—perfect! After using it for over two months, everything's working great. I was a bit worried that 8000mAh might be too small, especially since my old battery pack claimed to be 10000mAh but only extended the Quest 3's usage by 1.5 hours. But when I got the new one and charged it up, it actually gave me over 2 extra hours, which was a nice surprise! Honestly, I started to wonder if those products claiming huge battery capacities were a bit misleading. The product is sturdy, the magnet is strong, and it’s way more comfortable than the default strap! The 20W charging speed is definitely faster than my last one, so I don't have to worry about my Quest 3 dying while charging anymore. However, I did notice that when the headset's battery is high, it still drains slowly even while charging with the strap. When the battery is low, that doesn’t happen. While this hasn’t really affected my usage, I was still a bit concerned there might be an issue with the battery pack. So, I reached out to Sonicgrace, and they explained that the Quest 3/3S uses power from both the external battery and the internal battery while running. When the internal battery is high, it uses trickle charging to protect it, which limits the charging speed, so the internal battery can't keep up with its consumption. Other brands' battery straps work similarly!Overall, my son and I really love this product; it’s definitely something I’d recommend!

Great Replacement Strap and Battery for Meta Quest 3
The media could not be loaded. Great Replacement Strap and Battery for Meta Quest 3If you regularly play more than 45mins with a Meta Quest 3, the Sonicgrace S3 Pro Battery Head Strap is a great option. I've been testing it out, and it’s the best headstrap I've used so far and the battery lasts the longest.** Design & Build QualityLet’s start with the design. The head strap is sleek and feels like a natural extension of the Meta Quest 3—no clunky, oversized attachments here. It's got a smooth, high-quality finish that complements the headset’s look perfectly. The 8000mAh magnetic battery pack? Super convenient. It snaps into place with ease and feels secure, all thanks to the strong magnetic connectors. Nothing feels flimsy, and the strap itself is durable without being heavy. I had to add extra straps to a previous battery I was using so it wouldn't fall off.** Battery Life & ChargingOne of the best features has to be the fast charging. The 20W power means you get from 0 to full in about 2.5 hours. Plus, you can expect an extra 4+ hours of playtime, which is a huge relief if, like me, play games like Population One for hours. No more scrambling to find a charger mid-game or having to cut sessions short.** Comfort LevelComfort-wise, this strap is a big step up from the default Meta Quest 3 strap. The foam padding on the top and silicone pad at the back do a great job of distributing the weight evenly. That means less pressure on your face, which is a huge bonus during long gaming marathons. It’s not the softest strap out there, but it’s breathable and doesn’t get sweaty, even after hours of use. If comfort is key for you, this strap won’t disappoint. However, I would suggest adding some additional padding to the back piece for a little extra comfort.Easy to InstallThe installation process is a breeze. It attaches securely and fits the Quest 3 perfectly. You won’t be wrestling with parts trying to get everything aligned. Plus, the battery pack doesn't add a ton of bulk, so it doesn’t feel like you’ve strapped a brick to your head.** Final ThoughtsFor $46, the Sonicgrace S3 Pro is a fantastic deal. It’s a major comfort and battery upgrade that’ll keep you gaming for hours without worrying about running out of juice. If you’re serious about your VR setup and hate the constant interruptions from low battery, this is one upgrade that’s definitely worth it.I highly recommend it to any Meta Quest 3 users out there. This head strap isn’t just an accessory—it’s a necessity!

I want to like it.
Bought the set with charger and another one for our 2 headsets. Best design for an add on detachable battery I've found. And I've got the bobovr. Battery clips on pretty security. Had little QA problem with a metal spring pin sticking but no biggie. What is a huge deal is the back head rest. It's way too small for a large adult. Doesn't bring the side straps out far enough to and unconformably pinched my head. No options to buy or compatibility with the many other straps I've bought. Returned the individual one kept other for kids. Having a scare with a battery not charging right now that brings me on here.... Last day to return. Anyways still giving it 4 star because the basic battery design is great and there needs to be more players in the quest battery market. But please offer more options in the future. I can't go back to an overhead strap either.
