I have been wearing neoprene knee sleeves for years. This is the first set I have had with the elastic bands at the top and bottom. I generally tighten the bottom strap pretty good and it prevents the sleeve from sliding down my calf which is great. I don't really even need the upper strap so I just leave it loosely fastened. My only complaint is that turning these inside out to clean or disinfect is a bit challenging with the straps but that really is no fault of the sleeves themselves and one of those take the good with the inconvenient type of things. Overall the benefit of the straps outweighs the inconvenience so I still give these 5 stars.

The media could not be loaded. These Knee Sleeves by Jaffick are not suited for such off-label uses as court play or all-day support for knee-related injuries. (Ask me how I know this.) Rather, they are meant for brief forays into knee flexion, to the crouched position at most, and not for sitting at Starbucks. They’re made from a thicker neoprene than you would expect for active sports. Together with two seams that run across the back, this thicker material bunches at the knee joint--uncomfortable at best and potentially unhealthy when used for other than their intended purpose.They have no side stiffeners, which probably would have been more useful for maximum stability with the knee under load. However, the closed patella offers more uniform compression across the joint. The straps mostly prevent gapping at the top and bottom. Proper fit/compression is what holds them up (although I do wish they were slightly longer). But they are reasonably priced and comfortable enough, especially if you’re mostly standing around, waiting to fit in on the squat rack....🙄

Very uncomfortable when the knee is bent. There is a lot of material from the brace that is being smashed into the back of your knee. I would much prefer a brace with an open back if the focus around squatting. The straps are elastic and do not provide a noticeable amount of additional compression. No real lateral support to stop the knee from going sideways. I can't say this is any better than a normal compression sleeve, its just bulkier.

Wearing these working outside, very nice.
