Such a beautiful book wonderfully illustrated and covering many topics about nature from how to prepare for an adventure, to the earth and water cycle, to how birds fly and all about plants. It is very sturdy bound paperback with a glossy cover and full-color matte pages. I am using this as an introductory science course for homeschooling my toddler and kindergartener, but I have no doubt my fourth-grader will eat this book up, and it will be treasured for many years to come.

My children love We're Going on a Bear Hunt, so we were excited to read We're Going on a Bear Hunt: An Adventure Field Guide. My 8 year old loves this book, and it is such a great addition to our homeschool library. If you are a homeschool family with primary age children this book is a great resource. It is full of educational information that goes along with science and lesson plans for the primary grades. It is also full of science projects and outdoor activities! We absolutely love it.
