That’s what I look for any time I’m allowing money to leave my bank account to pay for learning - and that’s what this book is. This book does a great job of being concise and walking you through a full setup from start to finish. Not too in depth and not too basic. I’ve never done a guitar setup but I’m patient and have some mechanical skill. I now have the best playing electric I’ve ever owned. Almost perfectly in tune across the entire neck. Amazing and fun to play for the first time. I’m no longer cringing when a note way up on the 17th fret is out of tune even though it’s in tune while player open. It sounds so amazing. I only own Fender style instruments and I appreciated that this book also explained the other styles of bridges and nuts so I know what I’m up against if I buy an Ibanez or Gibson. It also covered the basics of setting up an acoustic but doesn’t go into incredible detail on bridge work - doesn’t talk at all about how to lengthen or shorten the string length if you are having intonation issues on an acoustic. It does talk about adjusting the height of the bridge on an acoustic though.
