This items price reflects the quality. The light is dim even with new batteries. The magnification equals that of a normal magnifying glass. It's extremely hard to focus in on anything and if your lucky enough to get it in focus just right the light doesn't allow you to see much. My children were frustrated so I will save up for an actual microscope that isn't for preschoolers even though I'm not sure what kids would enjoy not being able to see anything. Very poor quality but you get what you pay for. I don't recommend.

They work great, but it is hard for the younger ones to keep the bottom part on!

I bought this item specifically for reading sizes on sewing machine needles. I can never remember the color codes for each brand and some generic brands don't used colored bands like per say Schmetz. It works perfect!!!

This was a perfect addition to our spy 100th day of school party. We used this as a science lab. The kids throughly loved this station. It was easy to use and the size was perfect for their little hands.

Works likes stated I would only wish the camera was a little bigger but for the price really good it work good it’s build to last and I used to to teach my siblings about fabric bugs and plants really good for education and easy to use. I would rate this a 4.5 just for the camera size but it doesn’t really make too much of a difference.
