I used this cage for about half year and never failed to dissapoint. But after screwing bunch of screws for different mounts, one screw fot stuck into a hole that I use often and I can’t get it out. But I think I used it for a long time. But now I got used to using no cage as I’m just a vlogger with a tripod. I dont need any other mounts for now. But when I do, i’ll probably buy it again.

This SmallRig Hawk-Lock cage for the Sony FX3 fits perfectly. I love the added top handle — it feels solid and makes handling the camera much easier. All the ports remain fully accessible, and it integrates seamlessly with other SmallRig accessories I already use. Excellent design, secure fit, and just a great all-around upgrade for rigging the FX3.

One odd problem. The cold shoe mount seems to be ever so slightly a tiny bit too large to grab hold of accessories like the DJI mic receiver. I put a little, almost invisible strip of gaff tape on the floor of the cold shoe to hold it safe I place without it sliding out on its own.
