Would agree with another reviewer that the lid on this teapot is a poor fit. Have been struggling continually since purchase to remove the lid from the steel insert and was hoping through time it would loosen. The force required to separate the lid from the steel insert has finally resulted in the lid breaking as the lid handle came off leaving sharp glass edges! See attached pictures. It has lasted only several weeks. A shame as otherwise it was a nice teapot.
