These are the original Mitsubishi product. They popped right into place effortlessly—installation couldn't have been easier. I know some reviewers claim you can wash and reuse them, but that isn't the case. These are enzyme filters designed to neutralize allergens. After about four months, the enzymes naturally break down. If you wash the filters and put them back in, they no longer serve their primary purpose. While they might capture some larger particles, the filter area is so small compared to the main air intake that it's likely ineffective. Their job is to trap allergens with enzymes; once the enzymes are gone, the filters provide no real benefit. They work and do exactly what they're supposed to do. If you own a Mitsubishi unit, these are definitely the filters to buy. Highly recommended.

It's exactly like the original ones. They are expensive and I still don't know how they really work. I guess I just have to assume they do. They don't add any smell to the room which is great.

EASY TO INSTALL

According to my HVAC guy, who's a mini-split specialist, these filters are anti-odor, anti-pollen, anti-smoke adsorbent (rather absorbent) filters. In other words, stuffs sticks to their fibers rather than being sucked into them. So don't buy new ones every time you need a clean filter. Whenever they look dirty, wash them out, let them dry for at least half an hour in direct sunlight to reset their adsorbent magic, and then snap them back into the main filter screen and you're good for however long you go between mini-split cleanings. I've had Mitsu mini-splits for over a decade and I replace these little filters only after years of use. The price here is much cheaper than what I've paid in the past.

These filters make my home smell fresh and clean. They easily go on my air conditioner. They arrived very quickly.

Fits & works as advertised. Just pay attention that it is the correct Mitsubishi part number. It is pricey, but it is what it is.

The filters are pretty good, feels like they make the air cleaner and strangely lighter than without, only issue is price really so depends on how often you use the air conditioner.
