So I am writing this review after months of using this mic. Please read the full review for better understanding, and give it helpful thumbs up if you like this.This is the best mic I have ever used in my 3 years of youtube carrier. I was using Boya M1 previously and trust me it was worst. Let me give you the quick comparison.Quality - This mic is way better then Boya M1 in terms of quality. The wire quality feels premium and strong. Wherein Boya wire quality was very cheap and very low quality.Connectivity - In the box you get a splitter too and has 3.5mm pin so it gets connected to your device easily. Secondly Boya mic requires small cells but not for this one.Sound quality - Her comes the main part. The sound quality is crystal clear and kind of loud because of which you actually dont need to shout while speaking but, in case of Boya you need to shout a lot to make your voice hear. The best part is voice cancellation, it removes unwanted noise very easily. Imagine a kid is making toys sound while you are making a video. My daughter plays with her toys in the same room sometimes and it cancels that irritating sound too good. I did various tests on this microphone and its sensitivity levels. Below are my findings which you may find useful for your purchase1. Works on mobiles with microphone and earphone integrated. Nowadays all mobiles have this. Use the provided splitter2. Also works on laptops and pc directly if it has a microphone jack3. No noise cancellation and expecting one at this price range is unfair4. This microphone records the audio much louder than your regular mobile, eg tested on my samsung on max.5. Captured FFT spectrum shows that it works good and generates loud output especially at lower and middle spectrum, meaning bass, upto female voice frequency is having good yield, but very poor on high frequencies, treble.(check spectrum pictures attached, it shows my voice recording at indoor in my room, no high frequency noise pickup. The peaks were 1/3 less than this when recorded on mobile)6. Stock camera app detected external mic . camera app displays"Recording through external mic". No configuration is required. Excellent!7. Wires and connectors are of mediocre quality, but does the job well8. No echo or feedback pickup!9. Gain of the mic is more than your cell phone and hence voice recording is louder. But music suffers badly--> Some reviews point noise and poor reproduction. Please note this does not have noise cancellation and it sure can pick up more noise than your mobile as the mic is fully exposed and the gain is more. For making indoor youtube videos, this is perfect.I can recommend this product for major indoor use and occasional outdoor use plus if you can understand and know what to expect. It is good for beginners if you are a new youtuber or need this for social media videos. The voice quality is clear and loud but of course it won't cancel outside noise.

If you are looking for laptop mic, this is definitely not for you. I spends hours as suggested by customer care, but it didn't work.Butttt... if you are looking for noice cancellation mic, this is definitely not for you.I have galaxy S9 and disturbance is almost similar with mic and with normal voice recording.It is not compatible with desktop nor laptop. You need to buy additional usb connector to make it work.I bought this product by seeing such comments but after you purchase this product they will give you one YouTube link to download ( not actually download but to try various realtek softwares) which didn't work in my case after spending hours in this.Not a plug a play. If you want to buy for laptop recording or related to desktop or laptop things, don't buy this.

Nice product in this price range, purchased for ₹528, And sound quality is good, I have used Boya Lapel mic also, i thought Boya won't be compatible with my phone camera and i bought this, after purchasing this when i changed the settings both are working on my phone, Amputive will highlight your voice, but the bass is not upto boya, noise cancellation both are same, will not completely cancel background noise, both can only highlight our voice from other noises, you cannot switch on the fan, if you have a system and you got editing app, then you can cancel rest of the voice there, i am using phone, and this do clean job eventhough i am sweating, but Amputive is great since i had to pay only half the price of boya and moreover it has got a connector where we can connect our earphone so it will aid in video calls, which is not available in boya, In Boya when you connect the mic you cannot hear the other person speaking, so overall Amputive is good, go for it if you are a beginner.

nice product, pros and cons as mentioned nothing hide.....yes quality of recording is good...record distance sound also that is a point....but good for those who are looking a mic for group discussion alike....

I am pleased to recommend this Mike for Pastors, Priests, bickers, Ministers and Salvation Army Officers.I like it for its durability with care and it is cost effective when preaching from home etc for your lockdown Services, Meetings.

As you see from the photos, the product is COMPLETELY different from what they advertise. Nothing else but the mics actually arrived. Even then - they were the wrong mics. The sellers just refunded them. No explanation, or attempt to fix the problem. This seems to indicate that it was 100% intentional.
