Does it come with a light bul?

This lamp does not come with a bulb. I purchased the E26 RYET LED 400 lm as recommended. I got the 2 pack so as to have a spare when needed. Bought and delivered together.

I never measured the base of the desk lamp. It was very useful desk lamp. No problems with it. The light was very helpful and the lamp worked.

What happens if i screw in a 9w led bulb?

You might not get as much light, but the lamp will work just fine. I have an LED daylight bulb in mine and enjoy the natural light,,
