Excellent cat grass system, easy to use.
I ordered this pre-bagged cat grass growing kit after growing cat grass myself many times. This looked like a simple solution and said it was a no-brainer. The kit comes with three separate bags with everything in them, including the soil and the seeds. I have posted three photos And I’m going to give my suggestions to the seller on how to improve this. first off, you open the bag and the seeds are all mixed in with the soil and it looks to me like they tried to put the seeds on top of a coco coir soil mixture with some kind of flaky material on top probably to try and hold the seeds in place. If you’ve ever worked with Coco coir soil before it takes a while for the water to soak into it and so upon trying this the first time it’s a mess because the seeds are heavier and will wanna sink to the bottom and like I said the Coco coir takes a while for the water to soak in. The first bagged picture I took is of the very first time just doing it the way it says basically probably half the seeds fell to the bottom and you can see in the photo what seeds are left. The picture that has some of the grass growing is from the first bag. Now the second time the middle picture, it shows the seeds on top of the soil as I just left the seeds in there again and try to bring them up with a spoon after I try to soak the soil. The third photo is after I scooped the seeds out before adding any water put them in a separate dish along with some soil, and then put the water in the soil bag, stirred it with my finger, let it soak up the water for an hour or so, until the Coco coir soaked up the water, drain that off, and then let it set for a while. Then I took the bowl that I had put most of the seeds and soaked them with water and after they were soaked for a few hours, took them out and spread them on top of the soil like they’re supposed to be in the first place. This is the third picture of the one that shows the most seeds on top of the soil. This seems to be the best solution to do that so that you have the most cat grass that will grow. The first picture that shows the cat grass is after about five days but again those are only half the seeds because most of them sunk to the bottom and I’m not sure if they’ll ever eventually come up. I wanted this cat grass thing so I could start a new bag every 10 days and have cat grass growing all the time. I also ordered from Amazon one of their little LED grow light things that I could clip on and after using that on the first cat grass it greened it up within a day so I’m going to continually keep my cat grasses under one of their LED grow lights so that it will expedite the growing. The little grow lights I ordered were very well priced and worth it. If I had to make a suggestion to the seller, I would keep the seeds out in a separate packet so that you can moisturize the Coco coir and let it soak up water first, then throw the seeds on top of it and press them down a little bit into the soil thus Saving a step of having to take out the seeds to keep them on top yourself. That would be the only different suggestion I would ask to the seller because when the seeds are heavier and they sink to the bottom of the Coco coir as you’re trying to get the soil to soak up water, you’re losing all the seeds down to the bottom that need to be on the top to get them to sprout. That being said, I will still order these because it’s a good deal and I want to plant a new one every 10 days so that I constantly have cat grass for the cats, but I will do what I did on the last bag and take out the seeds and put them in a bowl separately while I get the soil in the bag to soak up water. That way I can still put all the seeds on the top and get the most cat grass grown. These little bags of soil will make good little presents too for your friends that might not be into growing cat grass. I’ve already ordered some more and probably will order this set once a month hopefully they’re available through subscribe and save that would be nice so I don’t have to think about ordering them. Overall, a really great system and easy to use.

Cat Likes It
I tried this as an alternative to the cat grass that requires a pot. It grows pretty quick, the cat enjoys it. My only complaint is that there's some sort of paper over the top of the soil, which is weird. I picked it out because I didn't want the cat to eat it.

Alright grass but not the best
Alright grass but it doesn't last long and sometimes does not grow properly. It seems simple but too much or too little water can yield no results.

Great buy
My cats love this. It’s better than buying the grass from the pet store.

Very happy cat …
Love this product and so does my cat … I just wish there were six smaller packs instead of 3 big ones … by the time my cat eats half of it the other half turns yellow . It grows quick as long as you have it by a window with a bit of sunshine
