## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does the volume control work with a Comcast (Xfinity) voice remote?**
A: It does work with my comcast remote.  All functions are available with the exception of turning the tv off and on.  Not sure why, but I have to now use the tv remote to turn it off. Any suggestions?

**Q: Will I be able to hear sound from both my sound bar and tv, or do I have to choose one or the other?**
A: With my LG 65SJ8000 65" TV, I could only enable BlueTooth or the in-set sound, but not both at the same time.   This is a fault of the TV and not the sound bar.

**Q: is there an optical cable**
A: Yes, an optical cable is included. It is about a 3 feet in length. For a better connection I would still purchase one.

**Q: can this sound bar be used with all tvs?**
A: No.  I purchased this sound bar to be used with a new TV that I had purchased, and found that the TV did not have a port to plug the sound bar into.  You will need to make sure that the TV that you intend to use it with has provisions for an external speaker.

Update May-2026- It stopped working. it was easy to install this to my parent’s older TV (LG 42LK450-UB). Connected the included cable to the Optical Digital Audio Out port, plugged it in, changed input on their regular tv remote, and it worked. The key is that my parents did not want to have to use the soundbar remote, and this worked through the regular TV remote.
