This is a good backpack for a student or person that carries good amount of stuff. It does have a lot of space. I can fit a good amount of small items in the small pocket that are in the front. I like how it looks. I love the black. Good to use also if you are going to like a theme park or go to an event.

This is a comfortable bookbag which I use to take to work. I'm a teacher. It has nice spots to put items but I wish there was better access - the buckles go in opposite directions so I don't quickly know which way to open them. The buckles also do not have a stopping mechanism so the buckle can come undone - I solved this by putting a pin on the end. The zipper is not as smooth even after almost 2 months of use. I often need to use 2 hands to open/close the zipper. It has 4 compartments - zipper small front pouch, buckle smaller pouch, larger buckle area with a zone for laptops etc and another zone for papers. There's 2 water bottle spots on the side which have elastic for some stretch to accommodate larger bottles but not too wide. The material lends itself to quick wipe downs and prevents wetness.

I have a Kingsons sling bag that I really like. It was not very expensive but the design and quality were just so good I felt that it punched way above it's price. So I was excited to get this Kingsons backpack.I like the look of a roll-top. But this one looks even nicer because it has a great structure. It is sleek, not slouchy like some other bags. It looks like a "tech" material. Another thing I like is that it has these clever buckles down the front. Not just because they are easy to open, but because they are only easy to open if you know how to open them. So they are not like the cheap buckles you see on many other bags so I can see how this makes them theft resistant. The placement of the closures has a sophisticated design language as well, forming a line from the top of the bag to the bottom compartment. And the black on black just looks so good. And this bag has no velcro. Velcro is bad! I don't know why these other backpack manufacturers think anyone wants to sit down in a coffee shop or a classroom and RiIIIiip! open their bag. This one just has a simple button at the end of the roll-top. Perfect.The inside is roomy and the laptop compartment keeps your laptop from touching the bottom of the bag. This does work better if you have other items in the bag to give it more structure. The cushioning on the straps is very thick and the straps themselves are moderately wide. So they are very comfortable. I would have liked a sternum strap, but that is not a big deal if I keep my pack under 10lbs.The side pocket is not stretchy, so you will want to choose a water bottle that fits in there as perfectly as possible. The fact that it is rain resistant gives me peace of mind if I were to get caught out there. But as a pro tip, always stuff a wadded up kitchen garbage bag in your backpack somewhere. If there is a possibility of rain, just line the inside of your backpack with the bag. Then if it does start raining, all you have to do is pull the drawstring shut and you should be pretty protected no matter what.I find this bag to suit my needs perfectly and it is cool-looking and comfortable. It has a thoughtful and slick design and I would not hesitate to recommend it.

I was looking for a backpack that has ample room for reflex camera and extra lens, IPad, adapters, chargers, a days worth of clothing, meds and toiletries for my trip to Cancun, Mexico. I was able to fit that and more in the backpack fitting perfectly underneath the seat in front of me. The backpack was perfect for sightseeing, beach and pool. The interior of the pack is well padded and protected the iPad and camera without incurring any damage. Its water resistant exterior shed off the tropical downpours that occur daily without any water entering the pack. The only improvements I would recommend are additional straps across the chest and at the waist. Other than that, its the perfect addition to my carry-on travel gear.

My son needed a new backpack for school, and this one is a fantastic replacement. It's got pockets galore - plenty of room for his laptop, notebooks, papers, chargers, and whatever other nonsense he needs to throw in there to get through the day (usually some massive form of "snack" and at least one bottle of Gatorade).Highly recommend for students or professionals that want a super-spacious "bag of holding". The zippers and fabric are high-quality and the storage capacity is utterly impressive.

This is a very functional backpack with lots of pockets to keep your things organized and accessible. It has breathable nylon mesh on the straps and backing which I like and it does indeed hold up to the rain. Overall very good quality and I could imagine this being sold in a department store. The bag looks sophisticated yet casual and it is comfortable to wear. I do find myself wishing for a tad more capacity in the main compartment, an extra half an inch depth would be perfect. I also have come to rely on usb-pass through from my other backpack which this lacks unfortunately. But otherwise it's well designed and well built.

It was a good choice for what I needed could have used a chest strap to make it more comfortable when sharing a long time.It would have been more water proof if it could have been sealed at the top rather than just using snaps
