Victorinox Swiss Army Men's Original Swiss Quartz Watch with Nylon Strap

I had seen this watch at both Macy's and Nordstrom's over the past year with a much higher price tag of $295. As fortune would have it, I found the exact same watch on Amazon, and it was well below the retail price. Why anyone would pay retail these days is beyond me. All of that being said, this Victorinox Watch strikes the perfect balance of ruggedness with class. The simple, brushed metallic face in a muted gold framed by grey, threaded by matching gold-toned nylon band is so subtle and classy. For me,understated watches are best. So many of today's newer styles are excessive in their multiple styles, colors, and excessive size. At the end of the day, you want an accessory to your overall look---not a glorified hubcap of viagra-fueled pomposity, fake tans and steroid-laden insecurity (see most Diesel watches). By contrast, this Victorinox watch doesn't have to try too hard because, honestly, its virtue is already there.

I got this watch for my husband as a xmas gift. Let me tell you that my husband (as any other guy) is very hard to find something he likes. He is very very happy with this watch, he kept looking at it when he opened his present, he tried it on several times and he was wearing the very same next day. It looks very nice and great quality.

I had high hopes for this watch when I bought it. I needed a rugged, everyday type of watch that I could wear around a lot, without giving up aesthetics. I also wanted longevity out of the thing, since watches are expensive, and the old "original" watch lasts forever. With that being said, I've had the watch for a year now, and am 100% satisfied thus far. In terms of durability, the watch is great, and shows no signs of depreciation. The band is fantastic, and still feels and looks new, even though I wear it every day, and strap it into the same loop each time. The watch itself is excellent, keeps correct time, and has not needed to be fixed or brought in for any battery replacement. Overall a great product. I recommend the grey one, though the black is nice too. Would buy again.

This watch looks awesome, but after having another Swiss Army at higher pricepoint this one seems a little cheap. It is very light and the case seems to be made of plastic, though I am not sure. The band is very chincy and is a thin nylon with weak clasps. Luckily, I paid under $200 for the watch. I have a chrono classic that is much better quality and is holding on strong after a couple of years of near daily use. This watch looks great but is not typical Swiss army quality. However, for the price it is a good watch. I would not recommend paying more than the $200 I paid.

Great timepiece and Great watchmaker, Feels solid and looks good, Looks even better than the pictures, I confidently recommended this watch if a adventurous individual looking for a long lasting watch, also its a good entry level swiss watch.

I have both two from 20 days and one I water tested and followed how precise they are. Absolutely accurate and water proof. I both a leather band Fullmosa, wich match perfectly and one of them is waiting to be offerd as a gift.

I bought this as my 9 year olds first analog watch. Fits a smaller wrist very nice. The green has a very military like feel. The price for the quality of watch can't be beat. I liked it so much i bought the grey color for myself.

Quite honestly, I'm purely disgusted by the incredibly wasteful packaging.....when the box arrived, it was so heavy that I swore there was more than a watch in it, but nope.....just a watch, surrounding by layers and layers of packaging.....a heavy box, lots of decorative padding, a heavy instruction manual written in every language imaginable, and so on. To be clear...I'm NOT speaking of Amazon packaging, rather, the manufacturer's packaging. At the same time, the watch seems flimsy and cheap....the metal parts of the band are incredible light and likely won't last long, the band is rough fiber and also very cheap feeling. What if the manufacturer invested in making the WATCH more durable than the disposable packaging?? Definitely a return.....

Wow used Amazon Global to purchase this watch, paid for express shipping and it arrived in three working days , and no import fees to pay as they were included in the price, what can I say, lovely looking understated watch, branded NATO strap, crown stamped victorinox, metal dial looks so much better in the flesh it's actually more of a browny green khaki colour which looks fantastic and reflects the light really well,,,the case is resin in more like a gun metallic grey and blends with the metal ring on the outside, which is more of a green than a brown as described, but anyway it's absolutely stunning, in every way, the strap is comfortable, it's water resistant to 100m it doesn't have a screw down crown but doesn't need one, as that's enough if you wear it in the bath,shower, and more than adequate for daily wear, the glass is hardend mineral, so as long as you dont smash it against a wall,floor or hit it with a hammer it'll be good for daily use ...the quartz movement is Swiss probably a Rhonda , not an ETA , but it doesn't matter at that price, it's a bloody bargain and you won't be disappointed it's Swiss and Swiss made.

Apenas transcurrido mes y poco el reloj se empieza a retrasar. Solicitó la devolución o sustitución al vendedor y me contesta que "debe ser la pila" (después de mes y medio???!!) y me deriva a un servicio técnico.Victorinox como marca de prestigio cuya fortaleza ha sido siempre la durabilidad y buen diseño de sus productos, debería vigilar mejor a quién utiliza para distribuir sus productos. Todo esto sin hacer referencia a la garantía, que está en vigor, y encima vulnerando la ley de consumidores y usuarios
