Cable Matters [Intel Certified] 80Gbps Braided Thunderbolt 5 Cable, 3.3ft

I've been choosing these cables for a while, and I'm happy to have bought this particular model. It's great, both the charging and the data transfer at top speed - exactly what I've been looking for. The cable is thick and sturdy, but flexible enough to fit in a small bag or case.

Works as it should, heavy gauge braided cable that works for both data and charging. My Dell laptop computer recognized that it was a slow charge and I ended up needing to use my power cord too however, so have realistic expectations for computers. My main concern was being able to run 3 external monitors with laptop shut, in conjunction with a Kensington docking hub, and it works well. I have a Mac Mini M4 and was concerned about finding a cable that would be compatible. I had read a number of reviews about other Thunderbolt cables and chose this one since it is certified and seemed to work for people. I have connected my Mini to a Views Sonic Thunderbolt monitor and it has worked flawlessly. I can say that the nylon cable is great. It lays nicely and is long enough to give you a bit of wiggle room. It is definitely a good option to the Apple Thunderbolt 5 cables that are sold for considerably more money.

The cable works and is stiff.

I use this for my Mac Studio M4 Max, with a 40 Gbps external SSD enclosure by Qwiizlab (ES40UR) containing a 2 TB Samsung 990PRO NVME M.2. Considering the limitations of my enclosure (it’s not for thunderbolt 5), I get a write speed of 3523 Mbps and read speed of 3367 Mbps, which is still blazing fast. Overall amazing!! In contrast, internal speeds are 5070 Mbps and 5018 Mbps. Cable quality itself is great: it’s thick with a fabric or nylon-like coating and looks like it will last long. Well worth the price.

Super high bandwidth. I use this with my external ssd to run a Linux OS. Good quality and robustness.

I’ve been using this USB-C Thunderbolt 5 cable with my CalDigit TS4 and multiple Thunderbolt enclosures and it’s been flawless. Transfers are insanely fast, charging is rock solid, and the connectors feel snug and secure. The cable itself feels extremely durable and premium, definitely built to last.

I use the UGREEN 9-in-1 Steam Deck dock for more than just the steam deck but for my pc and laptop. I used to use two cables to connect the dock to the pc and laptop for the obvious reason that the cable is too short. The two cables where the one that came with the dock which was meant for the steam deck and a cheap USB extension cable that i used for the Nintendo Switch to connect it to the system to the USB in the dock where the system sits (this is because I have an old version of the Satisfye grip on the switch but it wouldn't fit in the dock with it on so an extension cable is a remedy for that.). I took advantage of the modularity of the host cable compared to the permanent ones other steam deck docks had and decided to get a longer cable that can handle the voltage of a Wooting keyboard and a DAC. I had bought a UGREEN version but it had slow internet speeds for some reason. You would think it would work since they are the same brands. All in all it works.

Bought this cable a little while ago with a new power block. What a great cable sturdy, awesome data transfer and charging, I Will definitely be buying more in the near future.
