It is reusable, heavier plastic than what your drink is served in from the coffee shop.

Q: Are These Recyclable?

It is a 5, so if your area has a place that does recycle a 5, then yes. Granted these are made to be reused for a very long time. I just hand wash it after every use. I have been using it since June 2018.

Q: Did the straws and sleeves come separate from the cup?

I don't think the person is asking if they ship separately. I think they are asking if they are separate in the package or not. Are the straws wrapped separately in clear plastic or stuck inside the cups? What I want to know is are these truly 24 oz. Venti size, since someone said they are only 7 inches tall. That sounds more like a Grande size or 16 oz.
