I was a bit concerned about putting a loaded micro sd into the machine without losing my music! Customer service assured me that I can pop the card in with no worries. I am now listening to thousands (12k) of music tracks that were lost to me. It'll take me a little while to get used to the settings, but everything looks fairly easy to use. I haven't bothered with the equalizer as the sound is good without it. The MP3 player connected easily to my Apple Airpods with the "tap" controls still working. Battery life appears to be ok. But definitely not the 35 hours as advertised. It's advertised as 80gb. It is actually 16gb hard drive. The other 64gb comes from the included Micro SD card. Not a problem for me as I am using a 256gb SD card. Evidently it will take 2TB! It would have been good for innioasis to have included a protective case and screen protector! But they didn't. Overall I am very happy with the MP3 player. Review: Great at first ... and then ... - I loved this little beauty to begin with. It was sturdy and easy to navigate. I actually wanted a small portable player for Audible ... and this was the only one I could find - and being able to fit all my music on it as well and having a radio was an added bonus.. I didn't need all the other stuff (Facebook, Twitter etc.) - so I deleted those programmes. I tried it out on day one ... and thought it was brilliant ... so I ordered the case and cover. There was no SD card - but I had already bought a 512gb micro SD card for the player. When I set it up I installed the SD card. It said nothing about formatting it on the player (and there was nowhere to do so) or in the instruction booklet - so I didn't bother. It was so easy to transfer the files - and it was just the way I like it - making your own folders and sub-folders - and it was readily recognised on my laptop as two separate folders - SD card and internal storage. There was also a choice of an ordinary music player and the Hiby Music player which wanted too much of my private details - so I picked the basic one. I spent ages transferring music and sound files. However, the next day everything seemed to re-format itself. The basic music player disappeared and I was forced to have Hiby, the folders I created had gone, and the SD card & internal storage files no longer appeared on my laptop. When I checked the SD card - I was instructed (this time) to format it. So I deleted all my files and formatted and removed the card. I then did a factory reset - hoping I could return to the basic player I had in the beginning. No such luck. The SD card was not recognised at all, I could no longer make folders myself, I could not even transfer files to the internal storage. The player now had completely different folders and layout! Weird. I am so disappointed - as this could have been a great little player. I have also wasted money on a cover, protector and a SD card - which cannot now be used elsewhere. Obviously, I do not recommend you buy this - but if you do ... test it before transferring all your files and wasting your time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Android music player with some minor flaws. *by A***K on 30 January 2024* TL:DR Pros: Good build quality Plays Hi-Res audio FM Radio Nice interface Cons: Cannot add applications Internal memory is 16GB not 80GB (rest is a card) Battery with Bluetooth on is alot shorter than advertised. (closer to 20 hours). Equaliser destroys music quality. I have been using this for a few days and so far it is pretty good, it feels well built but doesn't come with a screen protector or case so that needs to be factored in. Biggest issue for me is that it is advertised as 80GB and 160GB, I bought the 80GB version thinking I could add an SD card in and take it to 112. the problem is that the player is only 16gb and most of that is taken up by the operating systems and apps. What they do is provide a 64gb SD card (unbranded), I haven't had any issues with the card, but it was not clear when I ordered that this was the case. Second issue. you cannot add your own apps, it comes with the ones you would expect (Deezer, Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Music) but you cannot add to this, you can remove the ones you don't use (but I haven't tried to see if I can get them back). You can however enable developer options, so there may be more that can be done. Thirdly, the battery, whilst good, will not last 35 hours with Bluetooth on, though it may last longer with wired headphones. with Bluetooth, it was more like 20 hours, and there's the obvious battery drain with Bluetooth on in the background. Lastly, and this is slightly more trivial, this is a Hi-res player and plays FLAC files nicely, however, when you use the equaliser, it ruins the audio quality, I prefer my music a little bass heavy, unfortunately I cant change it. This all sounds like I'm talking it down, but I am happy with it, it is what I was looking for, just with a couple of minor negatives, it also has a built in Radio when you use wired headphones which is a nice feature.
