Kiddizoom camera
Brilliant little camera for kids, shame it doesn’t come with option to add memory card but not the end of the world. Functions are clear and easy for children to follow, good quality of pictures and film and good value for money. Durable and seems to take a drop or two well lol (did have to send one back due to a fault but was refunded quickly!)

Great sturdy and easy to use camera for kids
First if you are looking for high definition photos, this one is not for you.It is a sturdy camera, quite straightforward to use, with lots of different options including games (with parental timer)My boys became very creative and loved making stop motion films with their legos, funny cartoon characters....It kept them busy without being passive in front of a screen.Batteries last a correct amount of time and there is a double security to take them off (+ screw) sd card doesn't have a pot of space but it cane make children reflect and sort their pictures once it is full.Very happy with the product

You'll need rechargeable batteries and an SD card!
The camera works out of the box (no need to take it and set it up before wrapping it) and is a very decent first camera for a child. My 4.5 year old daughter can operate it and actually sussed out the different main features faster than I did! As with most digital cameras it has a digital screen displaying the live image, but it also has a double viewfinder which teaches youngsters about lining up an image by eye, but without them having to coordinate closing one eye to do it (which might be tricky for smaller children). The camera has features found on adult cameras including a 4 times zoom, a flash which can be turned on or off or put on automatic, and a timer, plus it also has a rear camera for selfies, coloured filters (including black and white), a video camera option, voice recorder, fun photo effects, a basic photo editor and some games which can be disabled or limited through the parental controls. It's a robust camera with a rubber shell and a sturdy feel, and it takes 5 megapixel photos. Whilst the picture quality isn't fantastic, it is much better outdoors and this is a great camera for a child to learn to use a camera with, whilst being relatively hardy to being dropped etc, and the photos themselves not taking up too much space on a computer. The internal memory stores about 200 photos, and we purchased a 16GB micro SD card to expand the memory (it will take up to 32GB), which will store approx 14,000 photos or 900 minutes of video, which is plenty. The camera talks to a PC using the provided micro USB cable and Dropbox is able to recognise the camera and download the new photos automatically. My only gripe, and the reason I'm giving it 4 stars rather than 5, is that it runs on batteries (4xAA) rather than being rechargeable. I would expect any digital camera in this day and age to be rechargeable so didn't even think to check. The batteries supplied with the unit only lasted 1 day, so we have purchased some Energizer extreme rechargeable batteries and they are lasting longer.

Great
These are really great little cameras and have lots of fun things to keep little ones happy. Image quality is okay, but it's a kids toy so I didn't expect much anyway. Very durable, my little one has dropped theirs so many times and it's been fine. Only thing I could gripe about is we're going to need to buy and SD card because the memory is so small, or continually delete images one by one, which is a bit tedious.

Great first camera
Got this for my almost 3 year old son as a present for when his new sister is born in a couple of weeks. I can't speak for how he gets on with it, but I'll adjust this review if he struggles because I think it's fantastic. I paired it with a cheap 32gb SD card from Amazon - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07ZG93S5J/ and it works great. My main reason for getting such a big card is that as well as my son being able to take lots of pictures and photos of his new sister, he absolutely loves his music and I figured I could download a bunch of his favourite songs as videos and dump them on the card for him to watch. It does say in the instruction manual not to place your own videos on the card due to potential format errors, but I figured if I took a video with the camera and just looked at the file properties, I'd know what settings to use on a video converter tool. Found one online for free and followed the naming conventions used by the camera's file system and it works just fine. For anyone who is interested in doing similar, I used the website convertio.co to take an MP4 file and converted it to an AVI. Then, in the settings for the conversion under the video tab, I set the codec to MJPEG, quality to High, resize to 320x240, and frame rate to 15fps. Under the audio tab, I set the codec to PCM_S16LE, audio to Mono, and frequency to 22050Hz. After converting, I downloaded the file onto the SD card and into the appropriate folder (I formatted the SD card in the camera first to set up the right folder structure) and renamed it to follow the naming convention used by the camera (e.g. 100_0001.avi, 100_0002.avi and so on). I've kept a copy on my PC just in case my son accidently deletes the files so I can quickly put them back. Not tried this with anything longer than a 4 minute music video. The instruction manual says that the maximum file length for a video on the SD card is 10mins, but this is possibly just a limit on recording rather than playback, otherwise I'd expect a size in megabytes to be given.Anyway, all the intended uses and features are great too, just thought I'd highlight this secondary one to save anyone else planning to do similar some of the hassle in working out how.
